Just off the roundabout at Ayia Triada, two mins walk from Trinity Beach, with gorgeous sweeping views to the sea, is this traditional British Pub that's a hive of activity day and night … Barbara and Simon, aka Simon the Pie Man come from the Green Isle and good old Irish hospitality came with them, in abundance !!!
This is an awesome pub with an excellent reputation and I highly recommend a visit, oh, mention What's On and you'll be in for a nice surprise !
This is one of those places that just gives you a warm family feeling in a relaxed ambience, good pub grub and the more than occasional parrrrrty !
"it's a traditional Cypriot Meze House with an International twist" ... "It's not just lot's of meat, it's seasonal, the BBQ Souvlaki and selected meats come with grilled vegetables, black eye beans and salads and just seems to keep coming, usually about 23 dishes" he laughed, "we normally get asked to stop serving" oh btw just wait 'til you taste their specialty house bread, home made with herb infused olive oil then grilled over real charcoal and served to compliment tantalizing starter salads and dips.
It's a little away from the maddening crowds but this lot know how to party !
... we had to go with the times and old TV programs got dropped and we started a little entertainment and the pub matured, signs and blackboards every where and pretty much the same crowd would come in, a mix of young guests and the more mature lot who still remember the show ... and their popularity grew even more when the snack menu changed into a real pub grub menu ...
... the kitchen serves a Full English Breakfast or just Scrambled Eggs on Toast, home made Burgers, home made Pizzas, Pukka Pies, Omelettes, Salads, Grills with delicious Chicken breast, Huge Pork Chops and even your favourite Toasties. There's something for everyone including a separate Children's Menu ... and if you like to share try one of their delicious Meat Platters for two ...
Bursting at the seams with talent, one of my best friends 'Xenis', without doubt one of Cyprus' finest chefs, who passionately conjures up his Cordon Bleu pub grub, using only the freshest and finest ingredients from local suppliers and some grown in Xenis' personal allotments ... and btw Xenis likes to stay one step ahead of the competition 😉
Situated just to the right of Ayia Napa Harbour, a little more serene, dining out front, inside, under the huge covered terrace or out back, shaded under umbrellas, overlooking the med ... it really is a perfect place to enjoy seafood delights and there's a huge pristine lawn and a play area for the kids with swings and things ...
It's on the entrance to Bar street, and it's one of the oldest bars in Napa. Andreas and Karina, who are completely 'down to earth' absolutely love their pub and have continued it's 30 year tradition by being one of the few bars that stay open all year and naturally it's a favourite with locals and long stay workers and of course they look after anyone that wants to join them , it's sort of one big happy family !
