Well done to Stephanos Water Sports, Protaras

Situated in the middle of Protaras Bay, without argument, one of Cyprus' finest beaches ... it's a family business, run by two brothers Alexi and Kyri, btw, they've been on the beach since they were in nappies, or not as the case may be, things don't change lol

Poseidonion Athletic Centre, Paralimni

I strongly believe that if at first you teach your child balance, body strength, flexibility, courage, and of course eye, hand and feet coordination, then team work, they can go on to do any sport they want to, be it in a team or individual.  The end of year Gymnastics shows are awesome btw!

Cyprus Diving Centre, Pernera

Rich's speciality is his ability to calm students who are a little nervous about the idea of being under water.  He understands that some people panic a bit about putting on a mask and breathing underwater for the first time and Rich has this amazing knack to calm you down and talk you through it, in fact if needs must, he'll be right next to you and even hold your hand when you make the plunge for the first time.  The comments from his first time students speak for themselves !!!

Super Action Sports and Toys, Paralimni

... its a must stop shop if you're looking for a present for anyone, of any age !!!

Ayia Thekla Beach Bar & Restaurant, Ayia Napa

The setting is as good as on the beach, it's a traditional village house with alcoves and arches edging the shaded patio out front, overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean sea.  The ambience is relaxed outside and continues inside, with comfy lounge style sofas and 4 huge TV screens to watch all the live sports, there's a pool room with plenty of seating and two lovely open fires to keep your toes warm in the winter.

Bedrock Cafe, Ayia Napa

It looks stunning from outside, recreated to look like the inside of a cave, with huge Dinosaur bones, arches and skeleton relics everywhere and I just love the Lizard stools ... all the crew are dressed up in character and of course Fred parked the Flintstones car outside, so don't forget to get a selfie or two ! Oh, there's big screens for all the live sports and a pool table and a cool beer garden with cool kid's play area out back.

Aphrodite Cruises I, Protaras

Captain Andreas takes you along the coast for a 2 Hour 30 minute mini cruise, first as far as you can go to the UN line to see the Ghost City of Famagusta, where you'll learn about the history of what happened and why it's still empty after over 40 years, and it's told in 3 languages, English, Russian and French, brilliant !

Who’s showing the Live Sports?

When all you want to do is catch your team ... Here's where you can catch the games ...

Sunfish Divers, Ayia Napa

... with some of the most popular dive sites on the island due to clear, calm, warm water without dangerous currents and high tides.  It has a variety of natural features such as caves, canyons and drop off's which are safely accessible even on the occasional rough day ... plus a couple of new wrecks environmentally sectioned off to encourage plants and marine life !

Jungle Bar, Ayia Napa

I watched Lucas and Stavros build the bar, converting it into an open fronted beach hut on the shores of a Jungle, it's basic, wooden, natural, no frills and spills, I love the rope swings for seats, brilliant!, and more than a hint of their obvious love of animals.  But it's not just a bar, it's a meeting place, somewhere to chat about whats on in Napa, somewhere to pick up tickets to the biggest clubs, events and pool parties and boat trips, some free and with their compliments oh, and of course enjoy a drink or two while you're there ...
