Cypriot

Blue Spice Restaurant Art Gallery, Pernera

It's a family run restaurant, at the helm Frixos is an awesome host gifting traditional Cypriot hospitality like no other ... Partner and Head Chef 'Savvas' says he likes a happy kitchen, that way you'll get food served with passion ... always looking for new recipes, this Chef trained in Germany for ten years, 2 in France, 2 in Italy, so he is truly international in experience and compliments that with ten international chefs ... including a Silver Needle Sous Chef from Thessaloniki, Greece ...

Klokkos Tavern, Xylofagou

I love to discover good old authentic Cypriot Tavernas, especially when they are out of town.  As authentic as they come, this 100 year old traditional Cypriot house was lovingly restored and converted into an amazing traditional Cypriot Taverna by Elena and her husband Dimitris in 2008.  Both with over twenty years experience in hospitality, you can tell someone has a flair for design ?

Ayia Thekla Open Air Market, Ayia Napa

With over 50 stalls in the summer there's everything you'd expect from a thriving market, from a variety of bric-a-brac, souvenirs, hand made pottery, household goods, I.T Services and computer stuff.  There's shoes, new and second hand clothes, accessories, cafes and food stalls and even Grimsby's Smokey Pete's Van selling traditional English fish imported from Grimsby of course!  Pete has been in the trade over 35 years and specialises in Smoked Haddock, smoked the traditional way in Oak Sawdust ... the aroma is awesome!

Kamasias Taverna, Paralimni

Now this is where this place excels ... they call them seasonal 'Rain Gifts, so this family are dedicated to bringing you the freshest and most sought after wild Cypriot produce, like Baby Wild Artichokes, Snails, Asparagus, and a regular trip to Paphos to find rare wild mushrooms is all part of the norm, often walking 15 to 25 km a day to bring you the best selection that night ... needless to say if you like wild mushrooms this place is a must !!!

Pig ‘N’ Whistle Pub & Restaurant, Kapparis

A pub with British style, a landlord with character, a relaxed ambience, and a great place to eat traditional pub grub with a twist and an awesome place to watch the live sports ...

La Croissanterie, Paralimni

... more of a bakers, come patisserie, La Croissanterie is a name synonymous to excellence, so you know you'll find quality fresh coffees, freshly made sandwiches, freshly baked cakes and pastries just out of the oven and more than a few naughties, and because its part of an national chain that has a reputation second to none ...

Sirena Bay Beach Bar & Restaurant

... some with a cultural twist, tbh these days, at Sirena Bay, you should expect the unexpected !

Only Fools & Horses Pub, Pernera

... we had to go with the times and old TV programs got dropped and we started a little entertainment and the pub matured, signs and blackboards every where and pretty much the same crowd would come in, a mix of young guests and the more mature lot who still remember the show ... and their popularity grew even more when the snack menu changed into a real pub grub menu ...

Misohoro Taverna, Dherynia

They called it 'MisoHoro', as it in the centre of the village, I always thought it meant Half a Dance ? ... ha! when you leave here you'll only just about be able to walk 😉
