Let's start by saying this is a fish lovers haven! ... the setting, is on the coast, with mature trees, casting shadows over pristine lawns, with scattered sun loungers and Hawaii style thatched umbrellas, sweeping down to the tiny sandy bay. Here and there, little alcoves of places to hide, some with sofas and others with hammocks to chill to the max. Off the restaurant, terraces with wooden decking overlooking a panoramic view of the med, and btw, this fish restaurant has been nominated for Time Out Fish Restaurants 2017 and I think they deserve it !"
They serve traditional Cypriot cuisine or as Artimaki says ''pure horthiatiko'' or village style in English, and the food is always made fresh, so it'll take at least 20 minutes to be served, but let me just say; its worth every minute !

Partner and Head Chef 'Savvas' says he likes a happy kitchen, that way you'll get food served with passion ... always looking for new recipes, this Chef trained in Germany for ten years, 2 in France, 2 in Italy, so he is truly international in experience and compliments that with ten international chefs ... including a Silver Needle Sous Chef from Thessaloniki, Greece ...
The name Karas is synonymous with quality fresh fish, and it's regarded as one of the best fish restaurants in Cyprus, so its naturally a Cypriots favourite, and purely by reputation, they come from all over Cyprus to eat here !

They definitely don't sell fast food here, they sell really good food as fast as they can and the menu is truly international, carefully prepared by Emma, ably assisted by 5 top chefs, headed up by Gavin and Andrew who conjure up a menu of international culinary delights to suite absolutely every taste, using only fresh local produce and imported delicacies ... and whatever you do you really must leave some room for dessert, or just go for desserts ... mmmm!
Bursting at the seams with talent, one of my best friends 'Xenis', without doubt one of Cyprus' finest chefs, who passionately conjures up his Cordon Bleu pub grub, using only the freshest and finest ingredients from local suppliers and some grown in Xenis' personal allotments ... and btw Xenis likes to stay one step ahead of the competition 😉
