If you love Asian food but you can’t make your mind up between Indian cuisine or a good Chinese, don’t worry here’s the perfect option. It’s Indian and Chinese all in one !!! It’s unique in Cyprus and I don’t just mean the idea !
How did it happen ?
Well, Nikos the owner of Blazing Saddles Pub next door, opened the Indian Restaurant in 2013 because there wasn’t an authentic one in the area. Then one year later his customers persuaded him there wasn’t a decent Chinese either and chop chop it happened! So as you’re in Cyprus, you can Meze it up Asian style !
Menus
In the two kitchens, Asian Chefs conjure up the delights of the east . Speciality Wok Burners and a Tandoori Oven assure authentic cooking styles and with over 200 dishes on the menu you’re bound to find something to tickle the taste buds as they use only the finest, freshest local produce and import those important spices and ingredients indigenous to the far east !!!
Carousel Tables
It’s spacious, with comfortable seating inside or out for over 200 people . Authentic Indian and Chinese decor, that obviously cost a few bob . Ornate lanterns, carvings of elephants and Buddha make for a good photo and really adds to the overall relaxed Asian ambience and of course they have large solid rosewood carousel tables sop you can spin your party buffet ’til your fav is in front of you 😉
Indian
As it’s one of my fav cuisines, this place is heaven . There’s 100 Dishes to choose from, everything from awesome Onion Bhaji’s and Home made Nan Breads fresh out of their Tandoori Oven, the Peshwari amazing . even the Basmati Rice is specially selected for that perfect quality accompaniment, without cutting costs . You really must try the Lamb Curry . but, they serve one of the best Chicken Tikka Massala I’ve ever tasted . OMG ! oh, wait ’til you try all their Sizzling Dishes !
Chinese
A culinary experience in Chinese and Thai dinning . Home made Spring Rolls, crispy and perfect . The Seafood Soup a tasty entree . The Prawn Szechuan a sea food delight . I just love the Dim Sum Steamed Parcels . The Noodles freshly made always . even more Sizzling Dishes . but their speciality is Beijing Duck with Pancakes, hard to resist . Might as well add a few Beijing Prawns . and the sauces are served separately so you can dip wherever you want … lucky they got revolving tables.
Deserts
Whatever you do leave a little room for desserts with specialities like Toffee Apple and Banana or the best Fried Ice Cream in Town, maybe the world … Ho hum I love this place !
