With a reputation second to none on the Coral Bay strip, Andria Steak & Seafood Restaurant is truly an international affair. Launched by the eldest brother Stelios, back in 1991, naming the restaurant after their mum Andria coz she was the Master Chef and then in ’98 younger brother Marios joined the family restaurant, now the Maitre d’, welcoming you with traditional Cypriot hospitality, always !
Quality comes first
The secret behind their success is down to the quality of their ingredients, everything fresh daily and cooked to order, and the presentation impeccable ! Marios told me “to cook a good steak you first have to buy a good steak” and that’s exactly what they do, importing the finest Black Angus beef and the freshest seafood caught daily by local fishermen.
I met Marios and the crew back in ’99 and have had the pleasure to eat here many times, their chef with over 30 years experience always makes me leave satisfied, if you don’t believe me check out their Trip Advisor Reviews.
Breakfast & Brunch
Opening early, serving a selection of international breakfasts including my fav, The Special Full English. Swinging into Brunch with delicious Salads, Omelettes, Toasties and Club Sandwiches to mention but a few … you really must try the Mozzarella Sandwich or the Beef Carpaccio omg!
Lunch to Dinner
The menu is extensive to say the least, starting with the hot or cold appetizers, my fav the Black Mussels in tomato and lemon, the Octopus Tartare or the home made Liver Pate, that will tickle your taste buds, even the Burgers are amazing, home made with dry aged Black Angus Beef, Mmm !!!
Dry Aged Black Angus
For main courses some of my favourites include; the Dry Aged Black Angus Fillet Steaks chargrilled or sauteed in black pepper and fresh cream sauce or the tantalizing Bearnaise sauce, but you really must try their unique Chateaubriand, half a kilo, cooked to perfection, it’s just to die for !!!
I love my Seafood so often go for some fresh Oysters and Crabs’ Legs and the Sea Bass Fillet in Chili Salsa with tomato and fresh coriander, alternatively spoil myself with their Dover Sole served pan fried in lemon butter sauce its delightful. You must also try the Fillet of Salmon or the Lobster Thermidor, both will leave seafood lovers in heaven!
If you’ve still got some room there’s nothing quite like their homemade desserts, my faves include the Tiramisu Cup, New York Cheesecake or the Chocolate Lava Cake, omg death by chocolate? Almost !!!
Behind the Bar
Famed for their selection of local and international wines, why not start the evening with one of their exotic cocktails, all mixed expertly only with imported spirits, my faves the Passion Fruit Mojito, the Blackberry Long Island Iced Tea, or if you’re feeling naughty the Porn Star Martini, any time, anyplace, anywhere ? Hmm ??
It’s a family restaurant so the littlen’s get well looked after here with a separate menu, including Chicken Goujons, Penne, Cod & Chips, Mini Steak, or they’ll be happy to downsize most meals.
