I met up with the eminent Andrea Morrelli on 5th March to chat about what’s on his events calendar for 2020. Over a coffee, he told me he’d pretty much had the whole of the year sorted just before lockdown and so as the Lockdown hit us 5 days later we decided to hang on a bit ‘til things settled … finally, with better days coming and some reshuffles of dates and bands, I thought I’d keep you in touch …
In the Know
Andrea is a north London lad, coming out of Tottenham and Harringay, not too far from my old manor … He moved here in 2011 with ten years’ experience in event management, having been part of a team called Ultimate Themed Events based in Basildon Essex, where he made the bookings for their tours around the UK and performed in all of their gigs … He was also part of the most successful touring Rat Pack show in the UK and was himself on ITV’s Stars in Their Eyes as a young Dean Martin in 2000 …

Andrea knows what it’s like to be on stage and only brings the best, the Crème de la crème of tribute acts, the top acts in Europe and on the international circuit … with his foundations originally in the UK Andrea has many excellent connections in the music world and specialises in award winning acts for your entertainment … and he’s even preformed for the Royal Family with The Rat Pack at the 2010 Charity event for Princess Anne …

Passion
I love the way this guy puts everything into his events, booking flights, top quality accommodation, sorting out a car for the band, keeping in touch with them and letting you know What’s On and even takes them out for dinner when their mini tour is over … Often as not ending up as lifelong friends … That’s what I call passion!
2020 Events
Andrea has managed to reshuffle his calendar, so you’ll find the best events in Cyprus, all over the island including Pafos, Pissouri, Limassol, Larnaca and Paralimni … Many of them are outdoor events from May to October … Morrelli Events also have their own staging and the latest technology in sound and stage lighting making every event that extra bit special … here’s a look at what’s on so far …
