Sunfish Divers was one of the first Diving Centres to open in Ayia Napa in 1982, becoming a PADI 5 Star Dive Centre in 1990 and a PADI IDC 5 Star Training Facility in 2008. Offering a full-time PADI Course Director together with a team of professional and multilingual Dive Instructors, Sunfish Divers pride themselves on providing quality, fun, diving services, in a safe, caring and professional environment.
Scuba Diving at Cavo Greko
Cavo Greko is located between Ayia Napa and Protaras on the furthest most South East Coast of Cyprus, in fact Europe, boasting one of the longest dive seasons in the world and some of the most popular dive sites on the island due to clear, calm, warm water without dangerous currents and high tides. It has a variety of natural features such as caves, canyons and huge drops, which are safely accessible even on the occasional rough day plus a couple of new wrecks environmentally sectioned off to encourage plants and marine life and early season Dolphins! Try Dive
This is an introduction to Scuba Diving, aka Discover Scuba Diving and one of Sunfish Divers Specialities … normally within three hours, your qualified Dive Instructor will have given you all the basic dive knowledge you’ll need, you’ll have put the theory into practice, turning notes into skills in safe, confined, crystal clear waters at Green Bay in Protaras, a snorkeler’s favourite with lots of fish, seahorses and the resident Turtles.
First of Many
Followed by a shallow dive, to a maximum of 10 metres for about 20 minutes then a deeper dive for another 30 minutes so your underwater time is about 50 minutes … on completion of The Discover Scuba Diver’s Programme the dive counts towards your Open Water Course and you can dive as much as you like for the next two weeks up to 12 metres deep with Sunfish Divers and most of their students often do. The minimum age is 10 and Try Dives are held twice a day, as it is so popular and btw, Sunfish Divers pride themselves in their success rate …

Kid’s Bubble Maker
Especially for the kids, from 8 years old, it’s a fun way for children to get introduced to scuba diving and of course, it’s very safe and conducted on a one to one basis up to a maximum depth of 2 metres.
Wreck dives
Zenobia
The number one wreck to dive in the Mediterranean and one of the top 5 wreck dives in the world, Zenobia will satisfy the most demanding diver. The Swedish ferry fully loaded with trucks and trailers, sunk on her first international voyage in 1980, 1 km off Larnaca’s harbour. Big schools of groupers, barracudas, tunas and several breeds of hunting fish are regularly spotted around the wreck throughout the year … On one of their recent dive trips they were joined by some Dolphins
Liberty and Nemesis
Liberty is a Russian Vessel that was deliberately sank in May 2009 with the approval of local authorities in order to create an optional dive site for wreck diving enthusiasts. It’s a perfect dive site for wreck training and underwater photography. The Nemesis III is the newest wreck in Protaras. It was deliberately sunk in 2014, she sits in 24 meters of water, close to the Liberty Wreck. Both wrecks offer the opportunity for penetration.
Underwater Museum
The first of it’s type in the Eastern Mediterranean off the coast of Ayia Napa. MUSAN is a Museum of Underwater Sculpture Ayia Napa, an underwater forest of 93 sculptures that makes an awesome backdrop for underwater photos and one of the reasons Sunfish Divers love this dive and if you go you’ll definitely fall in love with the marine world!

Recognition
I’ve known Dena since 1999 and watched as this Dive Centre has grown to become one of Ayia Napa’s finest dive centres … in fact they were recently recognised by PADI and awarded a ‘Certificate of Recognition’ in April 2021 and tbh, they deserve every accolade they get!
