Great Night Out
I recently caught up with Karen at The Little Eagle concert at Blue Spice in Pernera, and let’s face it, there’s nothing quite like ‘Live Entertainment’ if you are looking for a great night out … Karen Kendall, a Lancashire lass, moved to Cyprus in 2007 and originally continued with her career as a singer, performing her way around the Paphos circuit and organising the occasional charity event.
Experience
Karen told me “It wasn’t long before I realised that there was a gap in the market for entertainment aimed at the British and European ex-pat community and decided to use my decades of experience in event planning, promotions, sound engineering, and graphic design.” Karen finally launched as an event promoter in 2012, whilst still singing herself, and I’ve been to several of her events, and every time I’ve joined the crowd at the end to shout for more and give them a standing ovation.
2022/2023 Events

Tributes
Kendall Events specialise in bringing legendary tribute acts from the UK and Europe, internationally renowned artists with fame and success on the international circuits. Many are acclaimed multi-award-winning artists, groups, and performers, some people say they’re as good, if not better than the originals!
Dedicated
Karen does absolutely everything herself, arranging the artists’ flights, accommodation, and transport, then Karen patiently covers every other aspect of the business including all the media and promotional artwork, and as she says … “if a problem arises, there’s always a solution”, and she has an uncanny knack of solving them. Karen is totally dedicated, making sure her mini-tours and festivals are spread across Cyprus, so you’ll all get a chance to catch a band wherever you are!
Hands On
I love it when I meet people who are passionate about their work, tbh, Karen is one of the most passionate ladies I’ve ever come across. It’s probably because, as she say’s “I’m still a ‘Roadie’ at heart”, joining her crew while they set up the stage because she loves to take part and oversees all stage erections, lighting, and cabling to be sure it’s perfect for her artists and her guests.
Entertainment
As Richard Branson once said “The way you treat your employees is the way they will treat your customers” and the same goes for her artists … Karen enjoys a challenge and her success has followed her all over the island. Karen is certainly a credit to the entertainment industry, making Kendall Events the No.1 events company for the ex-pat community in Cyprus!
Combinations
All of Kendall Events tours this year and in 2023 are tributes to the classics, like the Bee Gees, ELO, Frank Sinatra, Phil Collins, Bon Jovi, Little Eagle, Neil Diamond to mention but a few … oh, and btw, their winter events are indoor and often include buffet dinner and dances.
