Every year I share with you our upcoming Bank Holidays and Public Holidays. There’s 17 this year and just in case you hadn’t realised our first Bank Holiday is Green Monday, aka Katharie Deftera, which literally translated, actually means Clean Monday, which falls on the 18th of March this year. It’s officially the start of Lent also known as Ash Monday. Follow us on one of our social media apps for up-to-date info about What’s On … oh and, they fall on any day of the week here, so with 6 Mondays and 1 Friday on the calendar, we’ll get 7 long weekends this year! … I’d better stock up on the charcoal!
