I've known the crew since the early '90s and watched as they put all their love and devotion into their business, to build up a regular repeat customer which allowed Pafos Watersports to keep growing. Today they're probably the biggest and arguably one of the best water sports and boat trips companies in Cyprus.
There's boat trips galore ! As Cyprus has one of the calmest, safest seas in the world you might as well make the most...
Standing tall and proud on the left of Ayia Napa Harbour is the biggest, most stunning, luxurious yacht on the quay, and we were invited by my very good friend Mike for their Sunset Cruise. We recently made it on board and I must say, my first impressions were, wow! This boat is definitely the most luxurious yacht on the harbour!
The Black Pearl's adventure glides you along the rugged coastline towards Cape Greco. Hoisting the colours, Captain Jack Sparrow, Sweet Bonnie and all the other gorgeous pirates, who will get you in the mood, making pirate flags and dressing you up and teaching you some pirates facts and some pirate lingo ... and you'll even learn the Pirates Oath ... ho ho ho, and a bottle of Rum!
Go Cruising It's summer so you’ll see loads of boat cruises … there’s plenty for all the family from age 2 to 102 … Boat Trips galore along rough and rugged coastlines, anchoring in Blue Lagoons for a swim stops in aqua blue crystal clear calm waters
Why not visit one of our fine harbours, in every major coastal city, with a few boat trips and fishing trips and friendly fish taverns that’ll even cook your catch for you. There’s enough bars open to get sloshed in and even more restaurants, especially in the villages, providing that home from home feeling around an open fire, maybe a little live music, but remember Cypriots live for the table, so be warned, in the festive season you’ll probably put on a few kilos
Not just Parties ... This little gem at the busy end of Nissi Avenue is everything you'll need to enjoy your holiday. It's a family business with a personal service, they'll help you choose the best things to do, when to do them, the best places to see and how to get there, and the best parties to be seen at, and you know, they wanna be on those boat trips and excursions with you and might just be dancing next to you at the parties!
Every year we think it rained more and it's colder than last year, but I'm sure this year it did and it was. OMG How cold??? But you'd better not blink or you’ll miss spring, that’s the last two weeks of February, when the blossoms are out, floral aromas everywhere and everything is sooooo green … I just love it!
It’s probably gonna hit well over 40°C in the shade, so that's over 50°C in direct sun, so for those of us working it's horrible! Imagine Nicosia at lunchtime, not a good idea, and that’s why the majority of the residents of Nicosia swarm down to the coat. Just watch, as sophisticated, cosmopolitan, trendy, Nicosia mixes with the pure party holiday crew, the result inevitably is electric!, which btw, is why August might secretly be my favourite month.
It’s definitely time to get down to the beach or next to a pool to get that lovely tan, but please be careful, the sun in Cyprus is very strong, burn time is about 20 minutes, so slap on the Factor 50, aka ‘a bandage’ and it’s definitely going to be sunny tomorrow so there’s no rush. The ‘in-fashion‘ beach bars have grown all along the coast throwing some really cool beach parties and the decadent old town bars and cafés putting on some really cool events these days.
