Getting Around


The island of Cyprus has a rich cultural heritage and some diverse scenery, which means there is quite a lot to see and do if you want to get out and about. There are many organized trips and tours, including adventures and safaris. Public transport is also an efficient and cheap way of getting around the island with regular bus services between towns, and service taxis which will take you the whole length of the island for next to nothing.

If you want to get to the places of interest that are off the beaten track and do some exploring under your own steam, then car hire is also very reasonable with most places offering good deals and a variety of vehicles.
