I often pop in to catch up with Jimmy and Andri, always just in time to get my coffee order in, usually accompanied by some of Andri’s nibbles. The showroom always looks really cool, and it changes seasonally, so in the summer it’s all summery, changing slowly through to the winter, and by November it’s all Christmassy, with trees and decorations everywhere and every little set has its own individual design, I just loved the two little Father Christmas statues you can see in the video … Then, check out my recent Live Video around the showroom, that’s more summery.
Inside Out
Rustic Furniture Collection is an emporium of ideas for your home, based in Paralimni they’ve been importing household and garden furniture, ornaments, mirrors, paintings and prints, rugs, candles, gifts, and a little bric-a-brac, from all over the world for over 25 years, so whether you like the classic rustic look or the more modern style, even one or two antiques, or maybe a gift for granny, you’ll probably find it at Rustic.
Passion for design
I’ve known Andri and Jimmy since before they opened. What I like about this team is their obvious passion for their business. As you walk in, the immediate impression is that this company has a touch of class! … tbh You can furnish and decorate your whole house here … inside and out!
Changes
Things have changed since the early days, named Rustic because most of their stock was in solid Oak, these days there’s so much more choice, and if they haven’t got exactly what you want, they’ll find you something close, be it for a studio, flat, penthouse apartment, villa, mansion or the office, and of course the garden and even the veranda!
Variety
With over 900 square metres, the choice on display is just a little different, whether you’re looking for a new sofa, just a chair, or one of those really Comfy Reclining ones, a bed, single, double, or up to queen size, the selection is excellent and I think at really cool prices … Maybe some shelves, gorgeous dressers, lots of mirrors, beautiful wall prints, a gift for a house warming present, some new garden furniture, I’m loving the new burnt in designs on tempered glass expanding tables, maybe a gazebo, pergola to offer a little shade in the garden or even Artificial Grass, Rustic has an awesome collection!
Corner Units
The collection of sofas and three-piece suites is exceptional, lounge’ie one-seaters and matching two and three-seaters and corner units, in a selection of colours and finishes. There’s lots of single chairs and always a coffee table to complement the display. You sort of walk around thinking hmm, that’ll look good in the bedroom, that’ll look good in the living room, or the conservatory lol
Arrangements
I love the way Andri sets everything out, each sofa arranged with its matching coffee table, and a few ornaments to help give you ideas. They also have a beautiful selection of vases, decoration flowers, cushions, candles, lamps, discrete lighting, and lots of different colored stones, just to give your home that special designer touch.
In the Garden
Presenting the largest selection of Garden Furniture in the area, displayed in 500 square metres, some out front, but much more inside, everything from sunbeds, reclining 4 posters, a huge selection of umbrellas, gazebos, dining tables breakfast tables, and chairs, beach chairs, sofa sets, gorgeous vases, and plant pots, some with really cool lighting that’ll make your outdoor world a little bit more exotic.
Party Tents
Cyprus, of course, is a party country so expect to find a fantastic selection of Pergolas and Party Tents of all sizes, some big enough to fit a little tent inside. Their newest one on display is 30 metres x 10 metres with windows and high ceilings, big enough to hold a big party! You may notice there’s a new one outside, they needed more space.
Artificial Grass
It’s so hard to grow grass over here, so Jimmy imports, and is the sole agent of a fantastic selection of synthetic aka Artificial Grass of varying grades and blades, of 30mm, 35mm, and 40 mm height, in rolls of 25 metres x 2 or 4 metres. It can be cut to fit any size lawn, big or small, so you can make your garden lush green all year.
Quality Guaranteed
Their grass comes with many quality reassurance certificates, it’s non-toxic, and approved by UEFA so expect the highest of quality, but at very realistic prices. You can get it cut to any size even if you want to just cover the stamped concrete backyard, the ceramic tiled balcony, the roof garden, or the football pitch out back …
Delivery
Andry told me they have a free delivery service to the local area but can deliver nationwide and they will install it if required or you can install it yourself with little if any preparation. oh, and if they’ve got it in stock, they can often deliver on the same day.
