Dreams come true
Owner Trish, from the Green Isle, first came to Cyprus in 1999, having taken a year out from University. The plan was to work for a summer in Cyprus and travel for the rest of the year, and return to University! But like many others, Trish fell in love with paradise and never left …
Passionate
After her first summer job working in a bar, she took a position as a rep with First Choice for a couple of years. Whilst there Trish was offered a position at Giovani Developers, kickstarting the beginning of a long and passionate love affair with Property! Seven years working at Giovani were followed by another seven-year partnership at Island Homes, when Trish finally achieved her dream to qualify for her own real estate licence, and in 2018, Trish opened Blue Surf Property!
Unique
I’d just like to mention, unusually, Trish took the Real Estate Property Law exams in the Greek language, becoming the first ‘non-Cypriot’ to ever pass the exams and become a registered Estate Agent in Cyprus, and so to be more precise, Trish is actually the only British/Irish Registered Estate Agency in Cyprus! which explains her total commitment to Property … Here’s a link to their Property for Sale

Over a lovely coffee, Trish explained, “We absolutely love our job, because we get a buzz out of helping people find just what they want, after all, it’s a big moment in our clients’ lives”. Trish continued, “First of all, we like to make sure everything is in order to sell the property, and our success is built around our honesty. We are 100% transparent and don’t hide anything from the buyer. If the property has faults, we will point them out!! And then we offer solutions on how to put them right, having built solid relationships over the past 18 years with local companies that we can trust and recommend”.

Trish added, “Our photographer takes plenty of good quality, professional photographs, from all the right angles, to ensure our clients’ properties are shown as best as possible. I asked Trish to explain briefly the Management services, Trish said, “because of the way we build relationships with our clients who are making investments in Cyprus, we understand they will eventually need a trustworthy property management service, and as that became more and more evident, Blue Surf Property now also provides an extensive list of long and short term and private rentals”.
Word of Mouth
Trish continued, “It must be said, the majority of vendors come to us from word of mouth, and our new listings sell very quickly these days. We’ve recently broken all records on completion times from deposit paid to transfer and completion!” Reiterating, “and that gives us such a buzz coz it’s such a big thing!”
Topical
I discussed with Trish the current increase in Europeans Moving to Cyprus. Trish said “we’ve always specialised in relocations, where people are trusting us to help them move their whole world and we take that responsibility very seriously, right down to helping them organise their container shipment and of course help with registering for health services, transport of their cats and dogs and anything else they need to start their lives in Cyprus” … “We also love to stay in contact with our clients making them friends for life and often inviting them to catch up at our team BBQs at the office”

I love that Trish and the crew support ‘Run for Autism’. In fact, Trish is one of the main organisers and sponsors of the annual half-marathon. Trish explained, “We get completely involved and support the event every year to help raise money and awareness. In particular, the event helps to support ‘The Smile Project’ in Sotira … It’s a specialised day centre for young adults with autism spectrum disorder.
