I was invited along to a wine tasting party at Solo Vino Wine Bar & Lounge in Ayia Napa … I’d been hearing little rumours about this new wine bar, expecting yet another stylie cafe, I have to say I couldn’t have been more wrong !
Meeting up with David and Karen Jane Counter that afternoon for a quick chat before the party … first thing that hit me was the tall solid oak tables, stained dark and blending into the rest of the minimalist decor . a gorgeous loungie area with a beautiful open fire for those wintry nights . I knew straight away that these guys had got it right …

David and Karen both from UK, will welcome you with a smile … Serving only carefully selected wines from Cyprus, Greece, Italy, France, Argentina, and Chilli, to mention but a few . also you’ll notice the obvious knowledge on wines, with a hint of bias towards Italy, stemming from living there and a passion to give you somewhere to enjoy good wine, good company oh and awesome platters …
It’s at 31, Kryou Nerou, which means cold water … cool !
This place is definitively a wine lovers dream !
