Octopus Watersports
Paphos is up on the West coast of Cyprus, it’s where the sun sets into the med, and one of the best places to watch it is at Octopus Watersports … aka Kaso Beach Bar’s Garden, still passionately maintained by the eminent Savvas, who’ll still sort you out with ice cold drinks, coffee’s and snacks from a nearby cafe 😉
Paradise
I love the setting, a lush green lawn on a mini peninsular, a quaint sandy’ish bay, with their own little rocky breakwater, so it’s really safe for the nippers . Comfy Sunbeds and Umbrellas are available for hire and there’s an awesome blend of chill out sounds pipping out of the speakers on two tall palm trees that mark the entrance to this little paradise in Paphos …
Safety First
If you think all watersports are the same, think again … Zinonas, Andrianos and the crew are really awesome, they put safety first, always ! … then they’ll take you on a few wild rides …
Paragliding
This is the longest highest Paragliding in the area . up to 200 metres out, with stunning views down towards the harbour, it’s so quite up there no one can here you scream . with joy of course ! and a must if you’ve never tried it or if you just want to get away from the kids for 5 minutes …
Jet Skis
It’s really fun on this side of the island, pretty much wavy most days, jet skiing over the waves is coooool … they’ve got a good selection of 2 and 3 seat Jet skis for you and the nippers …
Fly Boarding
Adding this awesome adventure sport to the selection, fully qualified trainers will show you how to come out of the water like iron man and dive like a dolphin … trust me, this is an amazing experience … don’t think about it, just do it !
Wake Boards and Skiing
If you would like to Water Ski or wake Board, this is the place, again it’s safety first, making sure the waves and tides are right and the water calm they’ll teach to glide on the med, or give you a professional pull, if you are already a master … and wake boarders, it’s awesome here …

You really must check out the Double Banana, which they love making you bounce up and down on … Then there’s the Ringos and Double Ringos, and the Air-stream or Sofa Bed, both which will get the knuckles nice and white and make you scream alotabit ! or just ask them to take it nice and easy !!!
Self Drive Speed Boats
There’s a few Speed Boats available for private hire, seating up to 6 people … Go where you want with the family, stop off for a swim in the crystal clear Mediterranean sea …

Naturally, life vests are available and photos or videos on request . You can ask to ride on the boat and get your own shots and vids and with free wifi you can send a vid back home to get the mates jealous …
