Enviable Portfolio
I first met Andreas over 30 years ago, when he mixed me a cool one hour Reggae cassette tape back on my first visit to Cyprus in 1987. These days he’s into Sound, Light and Automation at a much higher level. I also worked with this amazing Light and Sound specialist where I had the pleasure to watch him in action first hand. In fact; you’ll be appreciating his work without even realising it, as he’s installed the sound and light equipment and their control systems in many of the top bars, cafes, clubs, restaurants, hotels, theatres, spas, supermarkets, shoe and jewellery shops, cruise boats oh, and many private homes all over Cyprus and I must say; his Portfolio and client list is enviable to say the least …
Audio specialist
Without a doubt Andreas’ speciality is sound, with many top bars and clubs trusting in his knowledge and experience. To be honest; I’ve never met anyone who knows audio better than this guy and I once listened with much interest as he critiqued the sound system at The Ministry of Sound in London on our visit there a few years back, ask him to tell you about it 😉
Like Father Like Sons
On a recent catch up Andreas told me that his youngest son Ioannis age 22, has joined the crew, along with 24 year old Eirinios who qualified in sound engineering in Greece as Technical Manager and eldest son 26 year old Panagiotis who has now been working with Andreas over 6 years making DJS Professional truly a family business.
First Hand
One reason Andreas is a touch above the rest is that DJS Professional install and also distribute; the truly outstanding CODA Speakers and the equally outstanding and extremely robust ECLER Speakers, giving the company the ability to offer an extensive and versatile range of audio equipment that’s just right for your venue inside and outside and I have to say, their installations are always carried out by qualified technicians to absolute perfection and by the way, I have first-hand experience on many of their installations!
Home Cinema
With the new blood came a few new distributorship deals, one big one was Home Cinema surround sound systems by Aurea of Spain one of the worlds best manufacturers of Professional Cinema Speakers for over 20 years, now also making them for Home Cinema.
PA Systems
In addition Andreas recently became the official distributor of LD Systems in Cyprus, who manufacture innovative, high-performance, PA systems, for touring and events with advanced speakers and subwoofers, for live events including battery-powered designs for outdoor use, perfect for the music industry and Cyprus’ outdoor hospitality lifestyle.
Intelligent Lighting
DJS Professional are also distributors of computer controlled lighting, also called ‘Intelligent Lighting’, installing high technology luminaries utilised throughout all sectors of the retail, hospitality and entertainment industry. Sole lighting distributorships include, world leaders Martin Professional Lighting, CLS, Colorbeam, recently adding Cameo Lighting by Adam Hall, Germany and most recently CLF this year, the range extensive to say the least.
