When in Need
I needed to find a few plumbing parts to connect a hose to an outside tap and something to dampen the sound of my water pump up on my roof. So, I popped along to the recently opened Inter Build Plumbing Shop in Paralimni, as far as I know it’s the only dedicated plumbing shop in the area … On my arrival, I was pleased to see that Alex of InterBuild DIY was running the shop; he had helped me so many times in the past. I managed to find exactly what I was looking for, but naturally, while I was there, I wanted to find out more …
Inter a New Era
Over a delicious coffee, I asked Alex to tell me more …. He said, “We decided to separate the paint, D.I.Y. and building materials shop from the plumbing and heating services, and as I’ve been working for them for the past 10 years, we discussed it and I moved over to manage this shop”. We chatted about when I managed a 24-hour emergency plumbing company in London in the late 70’s, so I asked if he’d had previous experience? Alex said, “Over 20 years now, including 10 Years running the Plumbing and Electrical side for one of the most well-established developers in Cyprus”
First Class Advice
I asked about his studies; Alex continued, “During that time, I attended many conferences and seminars for gas, plumbing, electrical, and heating, attaining several qualifications and certificates along the way. The culmination of all my past employment has allowed me to gain extensive hands-on experience so that I can offer first-class advice, through to the solution”.
You Name It
I had a good look around the shop, it’s well laid out, shelving and racks of plumbing accessories, with samples clipped to the racks, divided by displays of tools, and an abundance of brass all over the place. They stock pretty much everything you’ll need to sort out your plumbing needs, heating, cooling, pumps, tools for plumbing and air conditioning, copper pipes and fittings, taps, mixer taps, and showers. I just have to say, ‘whenever I go here, I just take a photo of what I want to fix or do, and they give me exactly what I need to do it!’

They are exclusive dealers of Milwaukee Plumbing Tools & Tool Boxes, Water Pressure Pumps by CNP Pumps, and Shimge Pressure Pumps and Gauges and a little more surprisingly ‘Midea Air conditioning Units’ … They can also help with all your Gardening Irrigation Systems requirements, and naturally, they’re always ready to give excellent advice when needed.
