A Unique Challenge & Celebration
The annual, much-loved Legion Run is happening really soon, and there’s still time for you to join the challenge … so you’ll need to hurry to enrol for the highly-anticipated obstacle-course event, Legion Run Cyprus 2025, and the date is set for Saturday, 8th November 2025.

So I caught up with the fabulous Kay for a chat … She told me, “This year’s location has been kept secret and it’s just been announced and it’s at Paraklisha, in Limassol … It’s getting bigger every year, so far we have over 1,500 participants registered, who can all expect an unforgettable mix of adrenaline, teamwork and fun … and for the first time there’s a Kids Challenge too.
What to Expect
Kay continued, “It’s a 5 km course packed with Obstacles, including crawl through mud pits, climb over walls, balance on beams, perhaps a jump here or swing there, and most importantly, we want you to challenge yourself, but equally as importantly, have fun doing it!!”

This year’s challenge promises six brand-new obstacles, never seen before in Cyprus … It’s not a race in the traditional sense of the word coz there’s no medals for 1st place, and no time trials. The emphasis is on fun, teamwork, camaraderie and pushing your personal limits.

How to Join
Arrive early to check in, park, warm up and get ready. Details on parking and bag-check are provided on the event site … Kay also told me, “As there are so many people this year, we will be starting 240 people every 20 minutes”
You Choose
The organisers stress that while obstacles look tough, you can skip any you don’t feel comfortable with … safety and fun are the priorities.
Spectators
Naturally, you are all welcome to go and watch. If you’re participating, why not take a few friends or family to cheer you on? And don’t forget there will be a lively festival zone to enjoy at the end of the challenge. There’s a description and video of the Obstacles here.

Tips
Some little tips to make the most of it … Wear clothes you won’t mind getting dirty or wet. Mud is all part of the deal. Go with friends or make new ones on-site: even if you go solo, you’ll likely vibe with others in your “Legion Wave”.
Water Water
Stay hydrated and arrive with time to spare, oh and you’ll want to soak up the festival zone after you finish. So, bring a change of clothes, a towel or quick-dry garments for the after-party, with good food, chilled drinks, and cool sounds!
