A very good friend of mine Jo Pitsillidou has just opened a new Reiki Room in Paralimni … I was only her third client having recently taken her initiation and gained her ‘Attunement’ . which qualifies her to perform Reiki on others …
Basically Reiki is an ancient Japanese technique, that tunes her in to the energies we all have around us, and when Attuned you can take these energies and work with them … hmmm ?
So Jo had invited to try the ancient art of Reiki for the first time … I was a little sceptical that I could be massaged without any touch . not really knowing what to expect I jumped up on the couch fully clothed and relaxed . It was a half hour treatment . Eyes closed I got into the session . Jo had told me I might experience a little hot sensation and the occasional cool draft of air …
Sure enough, I did feel a little heat on my temples and once or twice a cool breeze wafted up my chest and under my chin … I even had a sneak peek to see what was happening … I cant remember too much coz I think I went out like a light … Half hour later which seemed like only ten minutes, Jo woke me and said how do you feel ? … I suppose it must have worked coz i was soooo relaxed I fell asleep … I’ll be back !!!
