Snow White and a little Goblin !!!
I was invited by Director Jo Alsop to check out the fun and frolics, aka The Charity Adult Pantomime … This year it was to be Snow White & The 7 Dwarfs plus A Little Goblin … haha !! Love it !!! …
Off I went, not really knowing what to expect, I arrived at Ollie’s Taverna in the tiny village of Tremithousa, Paphos, to catch the early birds for a pre theatre tipple, and why not … Nice place, Whiskey & Coke please, great price btw …
Oh yes he did !
Setting myself on the steps at the back I watched as the crowd, not one under 16, and most well over 36 took their seats … Our Choreographer Mathew Edmonson came out to do the warm up and Thank You’s … Thank You !!! Louder !!! THANK YOU !!! … Brilliant … This crowd were obviously seasoned adult pantomime enthusiasts … I especially loved the chorus of ‘Not The Deep Dark Forest’ !!! … it sort of set the scene . Awesome !!!
The Story was Censored
And so with crowd all prepped, Sue Young our Story teller, started the night as all good stories start, Once Upon a Time … Naturally Snow White was a much more raunchy story then you would have once imagined, or not 😉 ? . it was only censored to become a kiddies story in the 18th Century … The show was non stop fun and frolics with plenty of innuendo that made you lol …

I have to say, the panto was just amazing, the story a little different ? Maybe ? The cast, fantastic !, light ‘n sound set the scenes perfectly, the kids opps crowd were just brilliant, and every penny raised in aid of The Friend’s Hospice, Pahos and Cancer Patients Support Group, Paphos … This was the third year that the crew have put on a panto and some of the oldies were there and some newbies just joined and I have to give them all a big shout out, break a leg !! . The guys at Ollies Taverna, for providing the stage and all … Cumonublooze ! and of course Premier Electrical, who presented the Panto …
Back home panto normally run ’til February … maybe we could pursued them to do a few more shows ?
