Gala procession
Protaras hosted another fantastic Flower Festival, aka Anthestria, on Saturday 13 May 2017 … The amazing street parade started from Fig Tree Bay and was organised by several local groups from the Famagusta area with a gala procession of amazing flower decked floats and beautifully dressed people.
Vibrant colours
Protaras, on the South East Coast, came alive with vibrant colours, music and the aromas of freshly cut flowers. A few floats had bands playing and everyone celebrated the beauty of nature and the return of spring!
