History
Coming out of Barry Island in South Wales, London-born Panayiotis is a qualified Electronics Engineer, they moved back to his wife’s village Avgorou, in 2005, originally working as an operations manager in Nicosia. He soon realised there wasn’t a future in electronics engineering in Cyprus, and whilst looking for a property in Avgorou, he also noticed that there were no estate agents in the village and the surrounding villages, with a considerable amount of development happening in this area.
Fully Registered
Panayiotis told me; “I immersed myself into my studies, obtaining an M.Sc. in Real Estate, passing the Real Estate Agents Exam, and becoming a fully registered Estate Agent. Following on, I registered FSB Properties Ltd., as a registered Real Estate Company. The company is also a member of the AIPP since 2018. I’m also a qualified, registered, and licensed property valuations consultant”.
Expanding
Recently moving into bigger offices, I asked Panayiotis how he has established such a successful company so soon, Panayiotis explained; “I like to explain the selling procedure and the legal perspective to the buyers and the sellers, i.e., costs and liabilities and I offer to take my clients to all the departments they need to go to either buy or sell their property and generally we end up becoming good friends”.
Relocation Experts
Panayiotis continued; “I’ve built the business based on trust and honesty, and since Brexit, I’m specialising more with clients who want to relocate rather than just look for a holiday home. I concentrate predominantly in the village areas but also have close ties to other agents in the bigger cities, and mostly work from recommendations from my clients, but you’ll also find FSP Properties Ltd., listed on, A Place in the Sun, Right Move, Zoopla, and Prime Location to mention but a few”.
Passion
As we talked I realised that Panayiotis is doing something he loves to do and he solidifies this by working with various trusted industry professionals to deliver a first-class service for his clients. Connections that have been built up over the 17-year period since he started this business. At the same time, he cooperates with other agencies island-wide to offer a vast array of property choices, whilst maintaining his high level of service. In Cyprus, we have a saying, literally translated; “Clean and Honest Deals, Make Good Friends”!
Envied Portfolio
Panayiotis has an envied portfolio of properties and land for sale in the Red Soil Villages and surrounding areas, and also manages long-term rentals for his clients.
