Location, Location
It was the name that first caught my eye, of course, the location, almost on Nissi Beach, then, the pink sofa, the layout almost identical to my flat, so I had to find out more … I caught up with the wonderful Eva for a chat, and as soon as I found out they’d bought this apartment from plan, I knew I’d found something special …
Nissi Beach
I asked Eva to tell me more, and Eva responded; “we were searching for a nice place for some time. We choose Cyprus for its stability, safety, and fabulous climate. We wanted to buy an apartment as an investment and it had to be a short walk to the beach, about 450 metres, because I adore the seaside. We purchased it brand new in 2008, and have done a lot of work on it over the years” … Take a walk around the apartment with this Video
Cool Views
I asked if they still come and stay, Eva continued; “we come and stay one or two months a year, as we also have homes in Budapest and the UK, we chose this place because it’s a corner plot, up on the second floor, with undisturbed views of the coast, but there is a lift, so wheelchair access is possible, although the shower is in a bath.
Essentials
It’s 2 Bedroom, sleeping up to 4 People, in the master bedroom, 1 x King Size bed, Dressing Table, French doors opening onto the terrace, Second bedroom with 2 x Single Beds, both rooms have ample wardrobe space, and blackout roller blinds throughout.
Interior Decor
Eva loves a little interior design and in 2009 started a complete refit. There’s a fully fitted kitchen, with modern appliances including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, and a full dinner service, Eva even chose the bathroom tiles herself, all marble looking.
Cozy Comforts
I also really liked that they offer a very personal service, and assure you before each new tenant the apartment gets a Full Covid Clean, top to bottom, and a smaller midweek clean with Linen Change .. and extra cleaning can be arranged if required at a small charge. There are 4 sets of towels, 1 x Big Bath Towel, 1 x Hand Towel … Beautiful Bedding & Linen.
Outdoors
The apartment is fully airconditioned and there’s a good size covered veranda of about 20sq metres with al fresco dining, a couple of sunbeds and a cool view of the sea. It’s in a quiet area so it’s very peaceful and relaxing and boasts arguably one of the largest swimming pools in the area with a kiddies paddling pool, mature palm trees, stunning terraces, and sunbeds and undercover car parking … and btw, it’s a Non-Smoking Apartment.
Getting Around
Car hire can be arranged, and you’re on the right side of Napa for easy access to Larnaca International Airport, around 30 minutes away. There are two restaurants nearby, convenience stores, and bakers, and you’ll find the apartment on a few bus routes, to the nearby waterpark, and Protaras via Konos Bay, Paralimni, and of course into the centre of Ayia Napa.
