A Touch of Luxury
I was delighted to be invited to meet up with the wonderful Tatiana, operations manager at Luxury Time Charters, a company that’s impressed me immensely. They boast an absolutely fabulous fleet of 6 luxury yachts available for private charter, and I just had to find out more … Over a delicious coffee, Tatiana explained: “The fleet was sort of started by accident, when Pantelis, of Liquid Cafe fame, bought his first boat the ‘Azimut’, initially, it was more for a hobby”.
Five Yachts
Tatiana continued … “It wasn’t long before Pantelis decided to make his hobby a business”, and as we all know this guy is a perfectionist. In 2012, he launched Luxury Time Charters, and year by year the fleet grew, adding another five Yachts up ’til 2022. By then, an array of tour operators and booking agents were actively seeing our company as being unique in Cyprus” … I must say; ‘I have to agree’!
7 Star Service
One of the reasons I love this charter company so much, apart from the exceptional fleet of six luxury yachts, is the high standards of their service, where absolutely nothing is too much trouble, where uniforms affirm professionalism, and the crew are in love with the sea and yachting … they can even arrange; live music, a solo saxophonist, a drone for some cool footage and a DJ, then they’ll help you with the decoration for your special event, and maybe suggest fireworks to finish off your sunset trip!
Just Say Yes
Tatiana explained; “The infrastructure of our company is already there, so, pretty much anything you request to be part of your charter can be arranged. If you want Hennesy Whiskey, all you have to do is ask and they’ll get it for you, if you want Bubbles they’ll have your favourite chilling in iced buckets waiting to be popped on your request”. Tatiana smiled and added; “in fact every week we have at least one proposal out to sea” … I asked if you can actually get married on the yachts and Tatiana said, “that’s a little more complicated, but naturally it can be arranged”.
Wine & Dine
Expect nothing but perfection from the kitchen, with chefs from two of Napa’s top restaurants providing the expertise. Tatiana explained; “Our fully trained chefs, often as not from Sage Fusion restaurant, also part of this amazing group of companies, cook for you. We then provide professional thermal boxes with an absolutely exceptional delivery service to get your food on board. Naturally, we can prepare a full ala carte dinner with starters, main course, and dessert or a full buffet of any cuisines you desire, to be enjoyed on board your charter, for you and your guests”
Variety
The six luxury yachts are of various sizes, all available for charter from as little as 2 hours for their Sea Ray, or by the day, and by the week for the Ferretti 592, and always with complimentary Fruit Platters and free local wines and beers … Tatiana said: “Our smallest boat is perfect for a couple or family, and we can accommodate up to 25 on the Princess 61, our biggest yacht”.
Your Choice
You can charter your yacht to just cruise along the Ayia Napa and Protaras coastline, stopping at places like the Blue Lagoon at Cape Greco for a swim stop … or cruise all the way to Paphos … Maybe you’ll want to set sail at 4 am and go Tuna fishing, I’m led to believe they hold the record for catching the most Tuna during one charter, which stands at 12, wow!
Coast to Coast
The company is also fully licensed for international cruises, as Lebanon is just over 50 miles away as the seagull flies, Egpyt is also close by, and The Greek Islands are a dream to cruise around and just a little further but maybe need a week or two to enjoy fully.
Water Toys
This is just one more thing that makes this company so special … they’ve got Water Toys … things like Snorkeling Equipment, Paddle Boards, and a really cool Sea Scooter, that are free of charge. You can also hire the Sea Bobs to use during your cruise and they’re waiting for their new toy to arrive … the ‘Ravik 3’, an Electronic surfboard that is on board The Ferretti Yacht and available for hire for 4 and 8 hours, just one of many available add-ons to your cruise, oh and, there’s a cool drone to capture it all from a better angle!
Home Comforts
The Yachts all come with a captain and at least one more steward who’ll answer to your every whim. Naturally, they can add more stewards as required, so too a saxophonist, live music, entertainers, and much much more … On board, you will find many home luxuries, things like cozy warm blankets, Italian sofa covers, plenty of soft fluffy towels, velvety curtains, and always fresh crisp linen, in fact almost anything you desire.
Events
They welcome inquiries for Birthday Parties, Hen Nights, Stag Weekends, Engagements, Weddings, or any special event and will help you dress and decorate the yacht so your day will be extra special … Tatiana said: “Of course, safety is our first priority and is all as part of our excellent service”!
Expect Perfection
When I mentioned this company are perfectionists, I have to say that totally refurbishing every yacht, each year, may be a little excessive, but they do just that! Right down to the leather seating and upholstery. So expect to find only the highest possible seven-star service when you charter any of their yachts.
