Time to Plan
Every year, I share with you our upcoming Bank Holidays and Public Holidays. There’s 17 this year, and just in case you hadn’t realised, our first Bank Holiday is Green Monday, aka Katharie Deftera, which literally translated, actually means Clean Monday, which falls on the 3rd March this year. It’s officially the start of Lent, also known as Ash Monday. It’s the day we all go out to the fields and light BBQs and stop eating meat ’til that lovely BBQ Lamb, 49 days later on Easter Sunday 20th April …
Long Weekends
Follow us on one of our social media apps for up-to-date info about What’s On … oh and, Bank Holidays fall on any day of the week here, so with 4 Mondays and 3 Fridays on the calendar, we’ll get 7 long weekends this year! … I’d better stock up on the charcoal!
