The Rock
I remember when Rock FM opened in 2002, ‘cool name’ I thought, probably a new Rock Station?, Hmm, Wrong! … It was named after the famous Aphrodite Rock in Paphos … Based up on the West Coast, they do play rock but more a mix of soft rock & some 80’s, and 90’s Retro and of course all the Classics. It’s 24/7 with top presenters live on weekdays between 7 am and 7 pm, when it switches to non-stop music. Oh, and you don’t have to be on the West Coast to tune in. I often listen Online and I live on the East Coast; in my opinion, it’s a really cool station!

Part of The Community
Rock FM Cyprus quickly became a part of the local community, supporting many local charities and providing live links ‘on air’ at top events, with news on the hour providing local, national and international topical news, and occasional live traffic information.

DJ’s Everywhere
The Presenters also attend lots of bars and pubs for promotional nights and helping at charity events … btw, they are very good at it and are now the longest established international speaking radio station in Cyprus, and they’re they’re still the only English speaking radio station, recently adding frequencies for the Limassol, Larnaka, and Nicosia Districts, and they’re always looking for and introducing new resident presenters to the station …

Weekends
On Saturday and Sunday morning it’s Diggi Dot, with a nice smooth vibe and his virtual classroom filled with interesting information, and of course, the chance to win great prizes.

Parties Galore
This Radio Station loves to host parties, so look out for events over Christmas, New Year, of course on their birthday in November, oh and Road Shows in the summer months and well, any excuse they can find, really lol

Competitions
The radio station holds regular competitions with so many awesome prizes given away over the years, supported by many sponsors who know a good thing when they hear it!

The Presenters
Top DJ’s include Jade Wolsey, Darryl, Kostas Sitopoulos, Digby Taylor, Diggi Dot, George K, … oh, and check out their Website for the latest news and advance notice on upcoming events.
