This really is a lovely initiative by local, ex-pat and international artists and crafters from all over the world and a lovely way to spend a family day out doing a little shopping and bartering for Christmas and I really hope you'll go along to give them some support, especially this year ... See you there!!!

These days he's got a crew of 30, most working as part of the family for years, and 'well oiled' is an understatement ... serving the best Cod and Haddock, and a nice bit of Plaice, imported from UK, Norway, Germany and France, deep fried in Lambros' crispy batter or breadcrumbs and served, of course, with chips made with Cyprus potatoes, pure heaven! ... opps, don't forget the mushy peas or maybe gravy, or curry sauce to dip your chips into and a few pickled onions and maybe a wally ... omg, old habits die hard oh, and almost forgot a good cuppa and a slice ... perfect!

An eatery of the highest esteem, I love the crazy paved terrace, shaded by tall mature trees, that twinkle delightfully as the sun sets, the crazy colourful tables and chairs, almost kindergarden'ish, little alcoves of comfy seating, hammocks set up high in the trees, whilst down a tier, skirting the rocks, a pathway leading to the almost private beach on the left, that'll have mellow music and waiter service and there's plenty of sunbeds, all with a view to die for, a sea of serenity at Sirena Bay ...

The course is well managed, self-funded and very well maintained, and tbh, suits mid to high handicap players ... originally carved out by Major Franks RE and his engineers back in 1964 ... It's 18 holes, split by a gated road, 11 holes one side and 7 the other, with artificial grass greens ... totaling 6,500 yards, there's 4 x Par 3's 12 x Par 4's and 2 x Par 5's ...  and a course total of Par 70 ... with the course record an excellent 66 by ex-pro Tony Lassia

Angie Savory has dedicated her life to looking after people and puts all that experience into her sunshine business, bringing a smile to many a thankful client and it doesn't stop there ... Hire or Buy and sell back everything from mobility aids to baby baths and training too ...

Sharen explained; Each unique piece brings joy and inspiration to her world, saying "our bespoke mosaics, large or small, are designed with attention to detail and built to withstand our extreme climatic conditions, bringing permanent colour, texture and strength'" saying that her inspiration comes from each individual location, and Sharen obviously loves to work in the reproduction of ancient images, uniquely designing her mosaics and art pieces, and a visit to her workshop is highly recommended!

As I arrived, my first impressions were it looked quite 'normal', a fairly plain frontage, edged in gorgeous natural stone walls, wonderful wooden shutters, but through the big antique wooden front doors and into the lounge and you're in another world ... making it obvious why its a favourite for wedding planners ...

Standing proud at the top of Hero's Square, right in the heart of Limassol, a place where people gather, in days of old a mix of Greek and Turkish Cypriots, apparently once a red light district, now a mix of popular stylish bar's and eateries, and as the decline of cinema in the 80's inspired the new Rialto Theatre, that launched in 1999 and helped to develop the area into a hive of activities, cultural or not! 

I met up with the owner Nicos Pyrgos for a chat, and it soon became obvious that this guy has exceptional knowledge about fireworks ... after all, his father Marios launched the company back in 1986, laughing, Nicos said, "I've got gunpowder in my veins"! ... ha! my type of guy!

This is the biggest selection of quads, buggies and scooters in town ... There's well over 300 vehicles to choose from, some brand new and the rest immaculately serviced ... and Andreas and the crew are awesome!
