It’s November, my favourite month … mainly because a long hard summer season is over and we get a chance to strike up a few bbq’s with friends, many that we haven’t seen for the past seven months … we’re all just too busy …
It’s been hectic season to say the least, launching the App has rejuvenated my passion for this amazing island and I’m loving it … and coz it’s stormy season … remember we’ve not seen rain since May …
It’s also the season for festivals and exhibitions and summer closing parties and winter opening parties and anyone that says Cyprus is dead should take a look around … sure its quieter then the summer, and many places are closed, some already starting renovations for next season but there’s events and things to do everywhere …
I wish this Country would look at ways to enhance our winter season because we still have the best weather in Europe and in December we can swim in the sea in the morning and ski in Troodos Mountains in the afternoon … Heaven, well almost !
November kicks off with everyone recovering from Halloween parties all over Cyprus … getting more popular every year btw …
Our Cover Girl, the amazingly talented ‘Gabi Junos’ who is about to launch her new art collection, Fashion Art is the design, create and hand painted apparel to be launched early November, I’ll be catching up with her later this month …

It’s the start of winter, so many of our clubs swing towards the Greek market and the eating out scene goes right through to Christmas … and many local communities all over Cyprus put on Bingo Nights . Quiz Nights . Live Music and events . Car boot sales . Christmas Bizarre’s and well you name it … remember that this rock isn’t very big so you can jump in the car and go touring …
btw, Kafenio is staying open all winter in the centre of Napa, promising many surprises … and of course winter wouldn’t be the same without popping down to Larnaca’s Salt Lakes to catch the awesome photo opportunities with the Flamingos, and don’t worry they’ll be here ’til spring …
Naturally if you’re not in Cyprus you’ll want to get to one of the reunions happening all over Europe especially in the UK, Israel and Russia … and I just got to say well done you lot, its good to see someone promoting Cyprus off shore …
