Everything is green
One Sunday afternoon in November, it wasn’t really beach weather, in fact in the morning it was pissing down in Paralimni, so my able assistant Mimoza took me shoe shopping, aiming for the Mall then on to Ledra Street in Nicosia. It was still raining on the way up the motorway and I noticed how green everything was !
Shoe Shopping
It’s been a while since I’ve strolled around this boulevard of shoe shops, bag shops, jewellers, souvenirs galore, leather shops and a few Indie boutiques and loads of international labels, and even more shoe shops, whilst down a maze of cobbled alleys you’ll find quaint cafes and traditional restaurants and kebab taverns.
Christmas in the air
It was busy with just a hint of Christmas in the air, and there was a really cool atmosphere created from a blend of a hundred nationalities doing much the same as us … Little did I know where she was taking me … some 9 hours later, one pair of shoes in a carrier bag, with dinner planned at Blue Pine Bar in Larnaca, the aromas of traditional Cypriot BBQ and fresh ground coffee were too tempting so we stopped for a gorgeous Cappuccino … See Photos and video below …
