Location
Situated immediately on the gorgeous, sandy, Golden Coast Bay, in the Pernera area of Protaras, on my favoured East coast of Cyprus, just over 63 km from Larnaca airport. Perfectly placed, only 5-minute drive from the traditional city of Paralimni or centre of Protaras and a little over 10 minutes drive from the more upbeat nightlife of Ayia Napa. It’s a little over 30 minutes from Larnaca, aka the Hub of Cyprus, about 60 minutes from our Capital Nicosia and just over an hour from our capital on the coast, Limassol.

One of their main priorities is the entertainment of their guests. The animation team will keep you entertained throughout the day with games, competitions, music and a little singing. In the evening you can enjoy one of several regular shows. There’s also a Kids Club with daily activities and they have their own fun, curly, waterslide into one of the pools.
Leisure
Within the AegeoSpas and only when the weather is cold outside, there’s a beautiful indoor heated pool alongside a luxurious spa, with Sauna and Steam Room and a fully equipped gym for your training needs with various Keep Fit events including Step Aerobics and Dance Classes … The beautiful outdoor swimming pools have a separate area for the kids so you can just relax on spacious terraces, in mature tropical gardens with ample sunbeds.

Dining at the Golden Coast Hotel is exceptional with 8 Restaurants and Bars set within the hotel and its gardens flowing all the way down to the beach … Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet style but naturally, they also offer a ‘la carte options catering for all diets and tastes, occasionally accompanied by live music.

In the evenings the hotel offers a ‘Set Buffet’ which changes daily and on a 2-Weekly rotation, giving you the chance to try an exceptional variety of flavours from around the world.
‘To Antamoma’ Bar
This is the hotel’s events venue and chill-out bar, set in a tranquil natural environment, immediately next to the beach. Relax by day or under the stars, featuring beautiful decking and alfresco-style tables and seating. Serving light snacks and platters, all your favourite drinks, exotic cocktails, and even more exotic flavours, the type chilled to your liking to share with your friends 😉 … To Antamoma can also be reserved for special events, private parties and Weddings.

The name means ‘By the Sea’ in Spanish, here you can dance the night away to the latest sounds, sipping a chilled Mojito, overlooking the stunning beach, making memories that will last forever …
‘Mamma Leone’ Trattoria Italiana
Their authentic Italian Restaurant setting is quite idyllic, with unparalleled views of the beach and Protaras’ Fishing Shelter, where you can enjoy a delicious glass of wine and authentic Italian cuisine. Savour traditional homemade recipes, cooked in their speciality wood-fired oven whilst listening to soft music under the stars.
Mediterranean Restaurant
The setting is traditional with a unique Mediterranean ambience and beautiful panoramic views of the pool, beach and sea. Serving from an a ‘la carte menu of Cypriot and Greek cuisines blended with the freshest herbs and local ingredients just like their Yia Yia makes.
Atrium Restaurant
The recently renovated indoor eatery offers dining with a little elegance, for when the weather is not so good outside, serving a consistently outstanding mix of international cuisines, with a twist from the Levant. To compliment; an extensive cava of fine wines and attentive service to make your dining just perfect! … The elevated section is also available to be reserved for indoor business meetings.
Atrium Terrace Restaurant
Adjacent to the Atrium restaurant is this wonderful wooden terrace-style dining area decorated in off-white pastel tones overlooking the hotels’ gardens and the sea … For breakfast, you can enjoy a delightful buffet, a perfect way to start the day … By night they serve a variety of Theme Night Dinners from Italy, the Far East a delicious Carvery and my favourite the traditional Greek Night Buffet to accommodate all tastes and diets.
