To Steki tou Boss, in the heart of Paralimni is an authentic Cypriot Taverna, offering that 'Home from Home' feeling! Inside the décor, in one part designer influenced bespoke wooden tables and chairs made really comfy, patchwork high stools up at the bar, blended with cafe-style seating, lots of wood, village artefacts everywhere, plants and really cool lighting. We recently popped into Eden Square, firstly for dinner at El Chico Mexican Restaurant and following our delicious meal with a couple of perfect Mojitos in Nalu Cocktail Bar in Protaras. I grabbed a moment to chat to owner Constantinos on the night and I arranged a day to do a catch up …

With an immense presence in Napa, boasting 4 arenas with a 4000 capacity playing House, Dance, Charts, R'n'B and Hip Hop and Party Classics and there's 14 Bars, with a gorgeous crew serving the best cocktails in town, plus 14 resident DJ's, 2 resident MC's and the biggest chill out zone under the stars, which some people just don’t get past and of course the elevated VIP lounge, up on the mezzanine floor, overlooking the chill out zone which basically means there's something for everyone under one roof.

... I got there a tad late and missed the Toxic Twins who I heard put on an awesome show, and if the next two bands were anything to go by I'll make sure I'll catch them next year ... Long live Cyprus Rocks Festival !!!

I've known the infamous consultant chef Louis Papageorgiou since he opened Di Capilla Seaside Stories in 2005.  It was my absolute pleasure to interview him, without a doubt one of Cyprus' finest chefs, this guy is seriously on another level.  These days, he's writing a new chapter, purely by accident, in 2010 he met and partnered up with Savvas, a master of hospitality, whom I've known since his Napa days in 1993 ... and together they started a new story ...

Lithos Rock Band have been part of the rock scene in Protaras for over 12 years, these day's they're booked 7 nights a week at the excellent Q Bar in Protaras!  What I really like about them is you don't really know what they are going play each night, coz that depends on the audience ... with some 400 to 500 tracks on their play list, they don't even plan what they're going to play next ... one thing's for sure you'll get a professional show from a group who can play so well together and btw, they can all sing too!
