Family Business
I love meeting amazing people and Ioannis personifies this statement! I’d been trying to catch up with him for ages. Over a delicious cod and chips lunch at The Bakers Arms, Ioannis told me “I’ve been cabbing 18 years, since I was 18, just part-time then. He continued; then, we recently bought the old ‘Saftey Taxis’ Company, ‘we’ being with Nicholas, my older brother and now business partner, and then our dad joined us too as an extra driver”.
All Needs
The company owns and runs, 4 Mercedes Taxis of the latest 2021 models … 2 x 14 Seater Mini-Buses, and a Stretch Limousine all dolled up inside, all fully insured, fully air-conditioned, and kept in immaculate condition.

Over the past 18 years, Ioannis has built a portfolio of reliable contacts all over the country so wherever you are or whatever you want, it’s just one call.
Zest
What I really liked about this guy is his zest for life, considering what he’s been through, I was gobsmacked, something to talk about on your journey maybe? Another cool thing is, that he gives 20% of his profits to local Ammohostos Dog Shelters because he loves dogs, and they are also members of the Red Cross.
Passion
After almost 2 decades working for someone else, last year, Ioannis and Nicholas transferred their passion for driving, into a professional taxi company, providing everything from local pick-ups to Airport Transfers, Sight Seeing Trips & Excursions, School Runs, and Hospital visits, all with an extreme enthusiasm that matches their knowledge of their country.
Airports
The company provides an excellent Airport Transfer service from Larnaca or Paphos Airports and they are also authorized to collect you or drop you at Ercan Airport in occupied Nicosia. They’ll be there on time to pick you up when you arrive and make sure you don’t miss your plane when you leave.
Day Trips
Based in Kapparis, a beautiful coastal area of Paralimni, located on the eastern side of the island of Cyprus. Close by are the popular resorts of Pernera, Protaras, and Ayia Napa with numerous gorgeous sandy beaches enough to do a different one each day for a fortnight, maybe take in a little Rock Jumping along the way … or maybe a trip to the nearby natural hedge maze at the Botanical Gardens and or even a trip to Pafos Zoo or the wonderful Camel Park

The area is a popular tourist destination that attracts visitors from all over the world and so over the years they’ve learned to speak English, Swedish, Norweigan, German, a little Russian, and of course, their mother language Greek, and I’m sure it won’t be long before they add a little Italian and French to that.
Across the Border
The guys are licensed and insured to take you across the border to Famagusta. These days they can drive you right into the Star City, once a thriving centre of commerce, where you can explore the ghost town, which is again a hive of activities. The guys will explain the history of the invasion and the split of the country and will take you to the divided capital of Nicosia … another wonderful trip is up to Apostolos Andrea in the Karpas, at the end of the Pan Handle.
Troodos
Another of their favoured trips is into The Troodos Mountains where you can get back to nature, take in a little wine tasting, visit the Caledonian Waterfalls and finish off in Pano Platers, the highest point in Cyprus where on a clear day you can see three coastlines.
