I've known the crew since the early '90s and watched as they put all their love and devotion into their business, to build up a regular repeat customer which allowed Pafos Watersports to keep growing.  Today they're probably the biggest and arguably one of the best water sports and boat trips companies in Cyprus.

It’s May already, and it really is my favourite month, apart from September, but maybe the  'summer’s really here' thing just tips that 'relief from the heat' thing.  Seriously, it must be summer because we’re all in T-shirts, shorts and sandals and we’ve put our boots away for the next 6 months! ... oh and, we need to put the butter in the fridge, and I've taken the quilt off the bed and I'm just sleeping under a sheet and blankie, it really must be summer!

Talking about beaches, Ayia Napa and Protaras on the east coast, boast 2 of the Best Beaches in Europe and tbh, we're blessed with the nicest sea I’ve ever had the pleasure to swim in, in the world ... Add stuff like; Licensing hours currently ‘til 2.30 am, and then, of course, our night clubs will take you through to sunrise, not too good for the tan unless you go straight to the beach after a good night out, speaking by experience ;)

It’s spring, but there’s still so much to do if you look around, tbh, Cyprus is so versatile, you’ll probably still be able to ski and snowboard and even go Husky Sledding up in the Troodos Mountains 'til mid-March.  Imagine being able to go snowboarding in the morning and wakeboarding on the med in the afternoon ... Only in Cyuprus!

Every year we think it rained more and it's colder than last year, but I'm sure this year it did and it was. OMG How cold???  But you'd better not blink or you’ll miss spring, that’s the last two weeks of February, when the blossoms are out, floral aromas everywhere and everything is sooooo green … I just love it!

So I asked Christos, How did it all start?;  He said "Cars have always been in my blood I used to finish school and go home and fix cars ... Like many boys, I wanted to be a Rally Driver, behind the wheel.  By the age 16 I'd built my first rally car and started entering races.  I asked what was your first car?, amazingly he said, "It was a low-weight 800kg, Ford Escort Mk 1", omg! just one of my favourite cars ever!

You may have noticed, that I love Cyprus with a passion and I’ve always said; “Cyprus is versatility to the extreme!”  How extreme? I hear you shout; well, where else you can ski in the Troodos Mountains in the morning, and in under an hour you can be swimming in the Med, which btw never drops below 15°C ... On another recent visit to check over, and apply treatment for ear mites and to vaccinate our two rescued kittens, again an the service was exemplary!

... et a quote to restore my leather sofa So, whether you have a car, yacht, boat, sofa, or even a leather jacket, handbag, a pair of shoes with fat or grease stains, fading, soiling, scratches, tears, or just normal wear and tear, their team will fix it.  Minor tears can be repaired and the item restored to look brand new or they can even change its colour, in fact; that's their speciality.

It might sound crazy, but by the end of December, in the morning you can go skiing or even Husky Sledding in the Troodos Mountains, and just over an hour later you can swim in The Mediterranean Sea and that’s just one of the reasons why I think this place is paradise!  And remember Cypriots live for the table, so be warned, in the festive season you’ll probably put on a few kilos!
