I was delighted to be invited to find out more about this exceptional, luxury chocolate manufacturing company.  Established in 1990 by Constantinos' father Stavros.  Their story is almost as lovely as their chocolate tastes ... omg!  Constantinos made me very welcome as we talked about how it all started ...

Then step out back, the pièce de résistance, an absolutely enchanting courtyard, mature trees, plants, and foliage everywhere, a red trellis adorning a multitude of colours ... It's become a lively meeting spot for locals to unwind after a busy day.  The warm glow of twinkling fairy lights adds an enchanting touch to the already picturesque setting.

I've known Andri, and Jimmy since before they opened.  What I like so much about this couple is the obvious passion for their business, as you walk in, the immediate impression is that this company has a touch of class! 

My initial interest was to find out about their gins, Aris explained, "it's what originally brought us back to Cyprus, 'to create a quality craft gin'.  Our initial inspiration was the aroma of The Troodos Mountains after a long dry summer when it first rains and we wanted to capture exactly that and put it in a bottle and we called it Aoratas Dry Gin which in fact last year won a gold medal.

Over a delicious Illy coffee, I asked Charbel how it all started; he said, "In the past, I was an HR Operations Manager in the F&B Sector ... Then we found this place, and between 2016 to 2021, we took Rise of the past, and Re-Branded it ... it was during the pandemic where I got the idea to take it to a new level and we had the time make some improvements, the idea was to 'Elevate your Hotel Experience' ... it's not just about the decoration it's about culture and spirit"

Lara Bay is famous for the turtles but if you want to get away from the maddening crowds its one of the few places we can call paradise in paradise !

I’ve often watched Jenny completely change people in a few minutes.  It’s quite amazing what a good quality hairpiece can do to make you look like someone new or maybe you just want to surprise someone, either way a visit here will suffice … oh, and btw Jenny has a few selected summer clothing designs and sandals and not many people know this; she contributes considerable amounts of her profits to Children in Need in African! she’s quite an amazing woman!!!

So I caught up with the fabulous Kay for a chat ... She told me, "This year's location has been kept secret and it's just been announced and it's at Paraklisha, in Limassol ... It's getting bigger every year, so far we have over 1,500 participants registered, who can all expect an unforgettable mix of adrenaline, teamwork and fun ... and for the first time there's a Kids Challenge too
