If you’ve come here looking for sun, sea and selfies, you’ve come to the right place … Cyprus has some of the finest beaches in Europe, and the best sea I’ve ever splashed in, recently voted the best swimming waters in Europe. Nissi Beach in Ayia Napa was recently voted number one by TripAdvisor, and much as I think they got it the wrong way around, Fig Tree Bay in Protaras was voted number three. Somehow they missed out Konnos Bay, in Protaras and even Lara Bay in the Akamas. I’m sure at least one or two others come very close!

Days Out
If you’re looking for a really cool day out you must try one of these … let’s start with a must-see, Paphos Zoo, where owner Chris, who is the most passionate man about animals and his awesome crew care for them like their own pets, try and catch them at dinner time … Then of course the wonderful Camel Park in Mazados, Larnaca, a fabulous day out feeding the camels … something a little more sedate is Cyherbia Botanical Park and Labyrinth, in Avgorou, the natural hedge maze just one of many features and there’s always something happening there.
