Bungeeeeeee!!!
Back before 2018, if you were looking for the ultimate adrenaline rush, then you’d have to look no further … It was 50 metres, or 164 ft in English, of sheer ecstasy that left you with a permanent Cheshire Cat smile all day. Bungee Jumping is still one of the fastest-growing extreme sports in the world, and you could pop down to the Bungee site in Ayia Napa, even if it was only to chill by the pool or at the bar watching all the other loonies!
Thousands of jumps
Owners Paz and Fi originally opened on the left of Nissi Beach in the mid 2000’s and a more professional crew was hard to find. Napa Bungee carried out literally hundreds of thousands of safe jumps worldwide and conformed to all the Australian and New Zealand standards, completing a rigorous code of practice for Bungee Jumping and at Napa Bungee you could jump all day or night, and trust me the view up there was awesome!
Safety First
On the day of your jump, the following checks were scrupulously carried out. All bungee cords, harnesses, the lift, platform, and all remaining equipment were checked twice by two separate people. These checks were signed for before jumping commenced that day. Then you are weighed, harnessed, and attached to the correct cord, and everything was checked again by two separate people before you jumped. All their crew were trained in how to deal with apprehensive jumpers, so don’t worry, all you had to do was relax and you’ll enjoy your jump!
Pool and Foam Parties
Napa Bungee also hosted pool and foam parties for a few bars and clubs in Napa, and their foam machine was massive, creating the mood to get covered in foam, whilst the resident DJ pumped out Deep House, R’n’B, and Party classics on an awesome sound system.
