An International Option
Accepting children from 3 months old up to 5 yrs old, and also offering an after school club, where children from pre-schools until Year 5 are also welcomed. They can be collected from school via the Nursery’s Mini Bus, served lunch and helped with their homework whether it’s English or Greek! Snacks can also be provided for your children. The areas covered for this service are Aradippou, Livadia and Kokkines !
Unique
I met ‘Barbara’, this fully qualified and extraordinary Canadian Cypriot, a few years ago, and she tells a lovely story about how she moved to Cyprus on her own chasing her heritage, finally opening her International Nursery 20 years ago, the marriage, the split, the single mum thing, more so coping with and beating Epilepsy and I have to say; knowing her journey, its a credit to her how Barbara has built this excellent Nursery and now provides an awesome option for your littlen’s safety and early learning …
Lessons
The lessons are taught in English although the staff are multi-national and speak several different languages including Greek, Russian, Bulgarian and French! It’s the other little extras that make the difference, Barbara’s love of Art, which will help during painting time … and her love for modelling which helps in building self confidence.
Special Needs
What’s really special about Barbara and this nursery is that they are qualified to accept children with Special Needs, i.e Autism, Epilepsy, Downs Syndrome, which sadly many of other nurseries in Cyprus don’t ! I believe all children need to integrate with other children!
Activities
How better than to teach children than by play, they don’t even realise they are learning ! Activities include; singing, reading, learning the alphabet, numbers, colours, shapes. In this world of technology, they lead the way, as they also have a newly built Computer Room, where the children can continue learning again by having with lots of fun doing computer activities.
Extras
Now, this nursery goes the extra mile … For a small extra fee they provide things like Teddy Tennis where your child is taught to play Mini Tennis by professionals ! They are even having their own Swimming Pool built where again for a small fee the children are taught to swim !
Events
They love to celebrate special occasions and holidays by throwing parties for the children, every year at Easter there’s bunny’s everywhere, they also host a great Halloween Party where everyone dresses up and there’s fun and games and lots of yummy treats ! Then every Christmas they’ll have festive activities, including making yummy Christmas Cookies and getting a special visit from Santa on a Harley ! They also take the children on educational day trips ! Brilliant !!!
