What's On Cyprus

Still one of the oldest, most classic and much loved pubs in Larnaca, after over 30 years ... the décor, all wood, prints and rock memorabilia everywhere, the courtyard out back all traditional and delightful. It's Cypriot, Rock hospitality, all the way!  with music ranging from Classic Rock to Jazz and Rhythm & Blues, and even occasionally, a little Reggae ... I just love this pub!

Andreas installs probably the best sound, light and automation equipment money can buy and to say he's a perfectionist is an understatement ... btw, you've probably been listening to his sound equipment and looking admiringly at his architectural lighting designs without even realising it!  Because, his work is evident in many restaurants, bars, cafes, hotels,  nightclubs, retail outlets, boat cruises and private homes from Paralimni to Paphos and everywhere in between ... It must be said that the garage was originally opened by dad, Michalis back in 1976 ... so Anninos grew up with greasy hands ... going on to excel in his studies, he's highly qualified with two degrees in Automotive Engineering, the first in Teesside University from 2010 to 2015 whilst working with Mercedes and BMW and later in Nicosia where he enhanced his Diagnostic qualifications ... in 2009 Anninos re-juvenated his fathers garage workshop with all the latest diagnostic testing equipment with just one goal, to be the best tuning garage workshop in Cyprus ... and it looks like he's well on target!

To be honest, I wouldn't be anywhere without this guy!  It was in fact Alex who told me I was doing it all wrong back in 2016 and helped me create this rsponsive, dynamic website.  It took us 2 years!  I finally managed to get him to sit down for an Inside-Out style interview ...

A place with a cool atmosphere, to enjoy good food, but with big portions, served fresh from the Charcoal Grill, hosting regular events and of course showing all the live sports on the 4 big screens.  The decor traditional taverna style, inside it's spacious, comfy, a lovely log burner for the chilly winter evenings and outside a covered courtyard for the balmy summer nights ... oh I'm loving the new extended bar with RGB lights, looks well cool ...

You all know I love to find something a little different, especially when it falls into our 'Things to Do' category ... Only opening in May this year, I did a little more research and gave them a call.  We arranged a meeting with owner Lenny at the Putt Putt Mini Golf Course, so I could find out more ...

Accepting children from 3 months old up to 4 years old.  Barbara told me "we also offer an after-school program, where children from pre-schools until 10 years old are also welcomed".  "They can be collected from school via the Nursery's Mini Bus, served lunch and helped with their homework whether it's English or Greek! Snacks can also be provided for your children.  The areas covered for this service are all over Larnaca".

I love the tall beer barrel tables and stools!  Inside, it's all wood, comfy seating, chandeliers, a cool stage, wicked lighting, music posters, and rock memorabilia all over the place creating a really cozy atmosphere ... oh, and a well cool ambience that's made by lots of like-minded, live music, rock, blues and occasionally jazz freaks, of all ages and nationalities ...

If you are looking for real, quality pottery by professional and traditional artists this place is definitely worth a visit !
