Two Generations
Our regular readers will guess why I popped into to this Jewellers, well the name caught my eye, I thought it was cool and I just had to find out more … slightly surprised, it’s the family name of Thalia, the second generation of this family business, strangely enough their clients sometimes call her partner Marios ‘Tati’ too … but I soon realised, this jewellers is far from Tatty !
Workshop
Tati’s father moved from Damascus to Nicosia in 1965 and opened his first shop, it was more of a half shop, half workshop, enhancing his experience as a Jewellery Maker. His work was so good that his excellent reputation spread quickly and made him one of Nicosia’s leading jewellery workshops eventually he moved to Paphos, shortly after the disruption in 1974.
Designer Jewellery
Tati followed in her father’s footsteps and in 1990 opened their first shop in Old Town Paphos, which btw has just been rejuvenated into a excellent shopping centre, and where of course you’ll find fine jewellery and fine time pieces at locals prices and almost two decades later Tati are now regarded as one of Cyprus’ finest Jewellery Designers in Cyprus.
International
I was fascinated by Tati’s designs, explaining, Tati said “we work very closely with several top local and international jewellery designers and keep in regular contact with them also we attend several workshops and exhibitions every year, continually looking for the latest trends, ideas and fashions. Then we choose the diamonds or precious stones, import them and decide on the setting for each stone, often working very closely with the client”.
Unique Designs
Many of Tati Jewellery’s clients prefer to give them ideas of what they want. Tati then looks for similar concepts and sits and works with the client, modifies them, then Tati’s designers and workshops hand make the unique piece to perfection, working with 9ct, 14ct and 18ct Gold, Silver and Platinum …
Weddings
Tati loves creating unique wedding bands and her designs have gained her an excellent reputation. She continued; “I love working with Diamonds and Pearls, so specialise in weddings, from the bands and Tiaras to beautiful ‘Stephanna’ by Louvaris of Greece’, aka the wedding accessories required for an Orthodox Wedding”. The ideas are endless and together with the bride they’ll help make your day soooo special.
Watches
Tati Jewellery also stock a selection of fine time pieces and gifts by top international designers including Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Jaguar, Oxette & Loisir, Just Cavalli, Nina Ricci and Lotus … for casual wear, work or weddings …
Gifts & Souvenirs
What I love about Tati is her awesome ability to match accessories to her jewellery, like bracelets to earrings and watches to gorgeous pens and key rings … in fact she has many ideas and gifts, especially for those hard to buy for friends and relatives.
Family
It’s been a family business for years, well established, and with a phenomenal repeat clientele maybe its because Tati Jewellery don’t treat their clients as money, they invite them to be friends of the family and that’s one of the things that makes shopping here so special.

With locals prices you don’t really need special offers but you’ll find regular promotions here and anyway Tati looks after all her clients 😉 in fact they’ll even arrange a free chauffeur service to their shop … oh and if you are visiting from a non EU country you can shop Tax Free … btw, all Credit Cards are accepted!

Tati is currently very excited about her new project, ‘Vera by Tati’ stemming from her passion for wedding jewellery design, along with her love for diamonds and pearls and has promised to let me know as soon as she launches, so stay tuned here !!!
