An eatery of the highest esteem, I love the crazy paved terrace, shaded by tall mature trees, that twinkle delightfully as the sun sets, the crazy colourful tables and chairs, almost kindergarden'ish, little alcoves of comfy seating, hammocks set up high in the trees, whilst down a tier, skirting the rocks, a pathway leading to the almost private beach on the left, that'll have mellow music and waiter service and there's plenty of sunbeds, all with a view to die for, a sea of serenity at Sirena Bay ...

I've had the pleasure to work closely with this impeccable hotel since 1993.  To be honest if you ever stay here, there's a very good chance you'll go back!  I think its because it's still a family run hotel, with many of their staff staying long enough to be family and its without a doubt regarded as one of Cyprus's finest hotels.  In fact, they were recently awarded a Trip Advisor Travelers' Choice Award for 2021 to add to an ever increasing impressive list of awards over the years.

Fat Mama’s is one of those special places that’s so good you’ll just keep going back, so naturally after 25 years it gets really busy every night with bookings not accepted after 7 pm, but don’t worry, if you have to wait to be seated you can enjoy a drink from a well-stocked bar.  Mixing one of my favourite Mojitos or try one of their intoxicating cocktails, and at 2 for the price of 1 during happy hours!

I asked Marios @ Andria Steak & Seafood Restaurant, in Coral Bay, Paphos what's their secret behind their success?  He said "it's down to the quality of our ingredients, everything is fresh daily and cooked to order, and to us, presentation is an art" ... I have to say it's impeccable!  Marios continued; "to cook a good steak you first have to buy a good steak, and that's exactly what we do, importing the finest Black Angus Beef and the freshest seafood caught daily by local fishermen" ... Roulla didn't want to just sell normal shoes, Roulla wanted high heels, naturally!, extreme design, of course!, extreme colours, why not?, crazy prints, the crazier the better!, oh and a few studs, that goes without saying, and she told me, within 6 months it was obvious there was a lot of ladies out there just like her age 18 to 90, yes 90 ...

Not just for hotels, this place caters for everyone who loves to cook ... The stock is extensive, to say the least, and delivery is nationwide, which is why they're favoured by many top hotels, restaurants, bars, cafeterias, apartments and private and domestic homes.  I think it's the only place you can go to find just what you need, on every visit!
