Ayia Napa Street Art Festival, Day 3, 2019

Gabi Junos, Mythology, Ayia Napa Street Art Festival 2019

Paint the Streets
I grabbed a few moments to catch up with Paparazzi, aka Achilleas who dreamt up this idea back in 2014 … and I had the pleasure to support Ayia Napa’s mayor Yiannis Karousos, Paparazzi and the awesome street artists who came from all over the world to take part in this, bi-annual ‘ish cultural event …

I’m loving the Mythological theme which will become more and more a feature when people describe Ayia Napa to their friends.  I have to say a big ‘Well Done’ to everyone who organised and is taking part in this year’s festival … this was Day 3 btw

All the way round
The first stop was to meet up with Andrey Zohkhov, a Cypriot of Russian Origin.  His wall is four walls around this storage facility … the outline ready, the plaster filler adding the right texture, this is looking cool … Next Across the road Koz Dez, contemplating his outline on the extended fork lift … they’ve got all the mod cons I see …

Down the Slope
Then up around the corner, and down the slope, one of my fav local artists Gabi Junos, I helped get her her first wall in 2014 and it was lovely to see her continuing with her Mythological theme … Looking good Gabi …

The final stop was to meet QBic, from Kazan in Russia, loving the attention to detail on this piece of Art, one of my favs … for more info and maps on the Ayia Napa Street Art Festival click here
