I’ve worked closely with Artisan Homes for many years and was delighted to meet up with the founders; the eminent Andreas and Zoe Lordos, of Lordos Architects fame, reminiscing our first meeting at their offices in old town Nicosia back in 1999 and not to mention that they are part of the amazing success story of the ‘Lordos’ family in Cyprus … This year they are offering a lovely surprise if you use What’s On Special Code when booking for a week or more, see special offers below …
The Gateway to the National Park
Artisan Homes was established in 2009; first we discussed their flagship project the amazing Artisan Resort; a collection of Eco Friendly homes, just 100 metres from the sea on the entrance to Cape Greco National Park, somewhere to enjoy family moments. The resort is neatly nestled in-between the tranquillity of Protaras and the versatility and nightlife of Ayia Napa.
Andreas told me “we wanted to create a base for families, nature loving people, looking for exploration, above and below the waterline”. He continued; “and to cover everyone, Artisan Homes have also recently added a few ‘more rural’ properties to their excellent portfolio of coastal holiday homes”
An Idyllic Resort
Artisan resort is a beautiful front line development boasting 15 villas, impeccably cared for properties, designed with families in mind, sleeping up to 9 people. The interiors offering that immediate wow factor as you walk in! Practicality comes to mind in the interior design and selection of furniture, with all amenities nearby and the nearest beach is the Blue Flagged ‘Konnos Bay’, one of Europe’s finest and probably my favourite bay in all of Cyprus with the excellent Mike’s Watersports ready to give you a few thrills!
Designed for Families
The selection of self-catering villas are designed to please a variety of tastes. At the Artisan Resort, the Private gated entrance harbours 15 spacious properties, 9 of them with sea views. Artisan Homes’ portfolio includes 2, 3 and 4 bedroom villas, most with a private pool. Houses 1, 7 and 9 at their resort have heated pools installed and House 15 has recently had a gorgeous Whirlpool Spa installed.
All properties are fully furnished, some boast en-suite bathrooms and shower rooms, well designed living rooms, dining areas, fully equipped kitchens and children’s rooms. The majority of their properties also benefit with the fastest Fibre Optic Internet service and within the Artisan Resort in Protaras there’s a communal children’s play area and all their villas have private parking … There’s a quick link to all their Villas on their web site where you’ll also find a link to view availability of each villa in Artisan Homes’ portfolio and do check out their Trip Advisor Reviews here.
With an unquestionable reputation spanning decades, at their Nicosia based offices, they provide much more than your accommodation. The wonderful Nikki also provides an enviable concierge service, including airport transfers, Car Hire, recommending events, wedding planers and venues and enjoys assisting with arranging corporate team building … Check out some of their reviews.
Working with local Mike’s watersports and the areas leading Dive Centre ‘I Dive’, who’s excellent crews will help you pass your leisure time and show you how to explore Cape Greco’s National Park above and below the waterline and by the way, you’re in for a treat when it comes to cave and wreck diving … Nikki can also arrange things like, Catamaran Charters, Private Yacht Charters, Trackers Safari Tours, Tuna Fishing and much more … Check out some of their Videos here.
Artisan Homes Host
Slowly but surely and very selectively, Artisan Homes have added a few privately owned properties to their portfolio in the Ayia Napa, Protaras and Dherynia areas … so if you own a house and would like to have a professional company manage the months that you’re not using your home, you can make a nice income knowing your property is being looked after by a very professional company … for more information here’s a quick link
Naturally the reputation of this company excels and Andreas told me they are following all hospitality, health and safety protocols. They are taking extra special care to assure you that over and above normal cleaning practices, they have added a professional company to completely sanitise each property before your stay.
Third Age & Nomad Workers
I’m loving a their initiatives to encourage international, third age visitors and ‘Nomad Workers’ to work from your second home, in Cyprus. I think this makes lots of sense, especially during the winter months, if not only to enjoy one of the best climates in Europe. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how little it’ll actually cost. Check out their villas and apartments open throughout the winter … come to think of it, you might as well get all the family together here for Christmas because they’ve got villas sleeping up to 9 people.
They always have special deals, especially during the winter months and of course last minute availability due to cancellations, even in the summer. It’s easy to book on line, with an excellent new web site showing photos of each property, with architectural plans, inventories and a calendar showing the booked days and the remaining available days … and if you copy and paste this Special Code 333667 into the application form on their web site they’ll give our What’s On Readers a nice surprise!
