I was delighted to be invited to find out more about this exceptional, luxury chocolate manufacturing company.  Established in 1990 by Constantinos' father Stavros.  Their story is almost as lovely as their chocolate tastes ... omg!  Constantinos made me very welcome as we talked about how it all started ...

I'd heard that the delightful Kaliva Suites in Ayia Napa are totally automated.  The installation by my very good friend and ex-boss Andreas Demetriou.  So, as Home Automation is fast becoming very popular in many homes and businesses around the world, I popped into have a chat with Andreas of DJS Professional, Light, Sound & Automation in Paralimni to find out more ...

Andreas installs probably the best sound, light and automation equipment money can buy and to say he's a perfectionist is an understatement ... btw, you've probably been listening to his sound equipment and looking admiringly at his architectural lighting designs without even realising it!  Because, his work is evident in many restaurants, bars, cafes, hotels,  nightclubs, retail outlets, boat cruises and private homes from Paralimni to Paphos and everywhere in between ... Launching A.E.Z Trust & Upper Quality Services in 2009 Eftichios has helped provide financial solutions to over 500 people and businesses that have found current circumstances making it difficult and in some cases impossible to meet their obligations for their mortgages and loans’  This is often due to their circumstances changing and occasionally they've helped people that were falsely led into irresponsible lending.

I popped into catch up with George and Eva Mintis who have been vey busy since Covid started, with the increase of interest from people moving to Cyprus from the EU and UK ... the topic of conversation moved towards Brexit and it seems they are even busier now, assisting with the purchase of property, offering legal assistance and property conveyancing and indeed immigration procedures after Brexit.  Cyprus of course is still having close ties to Britain.  On that note, this law office is highly respected in all these procedures.

With 4 decades experience you can imagine they've mastered the art of floral decoration.  Tried and trusted by many top wedding coordinators, they're normally involved in about 700 weddings yearly.  They also look after many hotels including The Grecians, Aeneas, Napa Mermaid and Nissi Beach Resort to mention but a few and of course their new and repeat clientele, both local and international.

Lucas then gained many more certificates, the wall behind his desk proudly showing the extensive effort this car lover has put into his business.  Opening back in 2005 Lucas has made it his job to study and keep up to date with technology, as these days you can just plug your car into a computer in Paralimni and BMW in Germany tell you what it needs, amazingly to the 'fraction of a litre' of engine oil.

... Because it's that time of the year when the quilts and blankets come off the bed, heavy curtains are replaced with nets, the winter wardrobe switches places with the summer one and it's time to look good and enjoy our summer ...

It must be said that the garage was originally opened by dad, Michalis back in 1976 ... so Anninos grew up with greasy hands ... going on to excel in his studies, he's highly qualified with two degrees in Automotive Engineering, the first in Teesside University from 2010 to 2015 whilst working with Mercedes and BMW and later in Nicosia where he enhanced his Diagnostic qualifications ... in 2009 Anninos re-juvenated his fathers garage workshop with all the latest diagnostic testing equipment with just one goal, to be the best tuning garage workshop in Cyprus ... and it looks like he's well on target!
