Accepting children from 3 months old up to 4 years old.  Barbara told me "we also offer an after-school program, where children from pre-schools until 10 years old are also welcomed".  "They can be collected from school via the Nursery's Mini Bus, served lunch and helped with their homework whether it's English or Greek! Snacks can also be provided for your children.  The areas covered for this service are all over Larnaca".

I love it when I find 'something out of the ordinary', slightly off the beaten track, owned by a guy who just wants to do what he loves with a passion.  Savvinos is dedicated about absolutely anything to do with Skatsa and 'Skateboarding'in Larnaca.  I've known him from the old indoor skate park days. I said 'I like the idea' and he responded with a smile, "Saves driving to Larnaca!" ... I asked how can you keep everything so low cost, and he responded, "Well, we buy lots of stock for our shop in Greece, and now for here" ... so with literally thousands of different items in store, for your home, garden and leisure time, here's a quick peek ...

... her idea was to gather together a selection of gifts from small Cypriot companies, preferably handmade and handcrafted gifts, unusual, unique and original ... she makes up your hampers and boxes herself and above all Irene loves to help make people happy ... I liked that bit!

You all know I love to find something a little different, especially when it falls into our 'Things to Do' category ... Only opening in May this year, I did a little more research and gave them a call.  We arranged a meeting with owner Lenny at the Putt Putt Mini Golf Course, so I could find out more ...

"The idea was to throw an amazing Halloween Party for my kids, their friends, brothers, sisters and their parents, and even grandparents, and when the numbers got towards 100, I realised that there's a lot of parents looking for things to do for Halloween, so we asked the amazing Antonis Elia if we could host it at Antelia Bee Park in Dasaki Achna.  And we're going to make it an international event that all our kids will remember forever".

The idea was to provide a hire service of all the basic necessities you might need while you're visiting Cyprus or when friends or family are visiting you.  I mean, sometimes you just can't pack the kitchen sink ... well don't worry they've got everything from baby cots to push chairs, and baby baths to mobility scooters, and well, you name it they'll have it, and if they haven't got it they'll find it for you ! Trust me, this is an awesome service !

This really is a lovely initiative by local, ex-pat and international artists and crafters from all over the world and a lovely way to spend a family day out doing a little shopping and bartering for Christmas and I really hope you'll go along to give them some support, especially this year ...
