The decor, is all dark wood, comfy seating, big arched blackboards with specials of the day and what’s on stuff. There’s a separate area for the darts and pool. I love the big log burner, separating the entrance to the loos, so you can warm your hands before you go, ha it’s got that country pub feel …
Darts Champion
Paul and James, coming outta East London, told me they’ve been after this venue for years, finally getting it, they’ve spruced it up their way and put all the memorabilia and darts trophies up, and on that note they have two darts teams led by Paul who won the Cyprus Open last year. There’s also a pool table and 3 big TV’s for all the live sports . plenty of entertainment, quizzes and a little live music …
Bar
Behind the bar expect to find you’re fav tipple, served with a smile . Several beers on tap, unusually, Marston’s Pedigree Bitter and Ice cold Guinness and Thatchers Gold Cider all on draught. Local and imported spirits, bottled beers, wines, and even more fruity ciders …

Traditionally British, it’s pub grub in here … and with a little influence from back home . Starting with a full English Breakfast. Home made Beef Burgers made with fresh Irish Angus. Home made Pies like, Steak & Ale, Chicken & Mushroom, Cottage Pie, Bangers & Mash, Spicy Chicken Madras, and one of my faves the Beef Stew & Dumplings. Following fashion they’ve got veggie dishes too …
Speciality
This is the only pub I know serving; Pie, Mash & Liquor, East London Style … The Liquor is a savoury parsley sauce that’s an old cockney art to create, it’s just like being back in the east end, coz they’ve got it to perfection !!!
Sunday Roast
Enjoy a traditional English Roast on Sunday’s, a choice of Beef, Pork, Lamb Shanks, or their delicious Gammon, served with roast spuds, crispy, fluffy yorkies, fresh seasonal veg, and delicious hot gravy to die for … Mmmm !
Desserts
Whatever you do save some room for dessert which changes daily, but the Treacle Sponge, and Rhubarb Crumble or Apple Crumble and custard … omg !!! … oh, and they do Take Away Service … so it’s grab a bottle of wine and it’s pub grub at home 😉
Golf Society
Paul is also a keen golfer, and welcomes golfers to join their golf society … it’s somewhere to meet for breakfast, join like minded golfers to get a round in at one of the local courses, then, get together with everyone to get some more rounds in when you get back … Fourrrrrrrrr pints please !
