I’ve been looking forward to this gig since I spoke to Mario about the upcoming BCL Events this season … and rumour has it, this highly sought after DJ’ Hannah Wants is ready to smash Beach Cult Live Ayia Napa … coming outta Birmingham, this awesome DJ, winner of ‘Best Breakthrough’ by both Mixmag and DJ Mag in 2012, winner of Star of the Year by Mixmag in 2014, Best Bass DJ in 2015 and the list goes on … Who’d have thought that Hannah could have been wearing, Red, White and Blue playing professional football for England’s Ladies, a prolific striker for club and country btw, … now Hannah Wants to smash Napa …

Hooked
But in 2002 after going to her first Rave at age 16, Hannah got hooked on DJing … Since then the gorgeous DJ Hannah Wants has toured Australia, played at Hideout Festival, Reading Festival and Leeds, and headlined at ES Paradis Club which gained her first breakthrough in the UK at Rainbow Warehouse in her home town Birmingham … but then she went on to a summer residency for 3 years at the massive Amnesia in Ibiza … oh, and not to mention her Residency on BBC Radio 1 in 2015 … Just finishing her first tour in the states, ‘popular’ is an understatement, even the issue of Mixmag with Hannah on the cover was the best selling of the year … love it!!! …

Rhymes
Hannah started her own mixtapes on Soundcloud back in 2010, providing fortnightly mixes, the genres a bit mixed up, stemming from her early favourites leaning towards Speed Garage, Bassline House and Oldskool UKG … Her record releases include co-producing ‘Rhymes’ with Chris Lorenzo of Cause & Effect which reached No:13 in the UK Singles Chart, inspired of course by Buster Rhymes song Touch It …  In 2016 Hannah released 3 Singles; Hidden Love, ftr. Detour City, ‘Just’ and ‘Dot Com’ which was DJ Magazines most played premiere that year … this’ll be her only gig in Cyprus this summer, and I can’t wait to hear her play her new Single ‘Love Somebody’ this Saturday at BCL Music Festival … Check out her gig dates this year …

On the Beach
BCL Music Festival is Ayia Napa’s premium music festival, the only summer music festival on the beach in Ayia Napa … It’s 10 Events, every year, on the sand … it’s the perfect venue, Poseidon Beach, Ayia Thekla, on the outskirts of Ayia Napa, but actually Sotira … and as always, headlining Hannah Wants will be supported by a full line-up of the finest DJ talent from Napa and the UK.

The concert beach venue is situated on Poseidon Beach, which is in front of Ayia Thekla Beach Restaurant, just one minute from Makronissos Beach in Ayia Napa, about 1 km past Waterworld Themed Waterpark on the outskirts of Napa bordering with Sotira but don’t forget transport is sorted, picking you up at 7 pm from Ayia Napa Project in Town! … to get there yourself, see map below … GPS: 34.979043, 33.934832 … and whatever you do don’t miss this once in a lifetime experience!
