Queen Vic Gastro Pub, Ayia Napa, Established 1997

British Ambience
Established in 1997 by my very good friend Costas, this traditional British Style bar is more of a Gastro Pub these days, and an absolute must visit! … always greeted with a warm welcome, it’s a friendly family bar with a family atmosphere and has become ever more popular with the locals recently … They’re not quite the Mitchell family but its a close as you’ll get 😉

Hospitality
Costas, Jenny, Pavlos and the crew ooze hospitality, they’re quick, polite and always ready to help.  It’s a great place to relax and enjoy really good food, with lots of memorabilia everywhere, collected over the past 25 years, that gives the Queen Vic its unique British ambience, served with traditional Cypriot Hospitality!

Reputation
The décor is traditionally British, lots of dark wood, tables, benches, comfy seating, blackboards, posters, football shirts and memorabilia and out front, a retractable roof turning it into a spacious beer garden.  I like a busy looking pub, and it normally is here.  Specialising in good old British Fayre, with an array of international gastro dishes, my fav the fillet steak with pepper sauce, omg!  I highly recommend a visit and I know you won’t be disappointed!  Check out their Trip Advisor reviews

Gastro
In a happy kitchen, three top chefs have perfected their menu, you really must try the Blue Cheese Pork or the King Prawns in Garlic Sauce or just grilled, finger licking good! … but still our favourite here is their tender sizzling steaks grilled or in one of their tantalising sauces … and now you can order with FOODY, WOLT, BOLT an

International Menu
The menu is extensive to say the least, available to eat in or Takeaway; including snacks galore like, Sandwiches, Baguettes, Omelettes, Jacket Potatoes, Home Made Pizzas and Salads, the Caesar Salad Lou’s fav, in fact, there’s to many to mention!

Home Made
They also recently started making their own Home-made Burgers which are delicious btw, or maybe try a whole rack of delicious BBQ Ribs, Home made Moussaka, Lasagne and traditional Souvlaki kebabs …

Fish Meze
Recently introducing fresh fish including; Sea Bass and Sea Bream and Cod & Chips of course … But the Fish Meze is a selection of dishes that’s a seafood lovers treat; for starters, a village salad with dips and pitta bread, then scampi, crab claws, king prawns, mussels, white fish fillet, salmon, sword fish, calamari, and fish kebab for only €38 for two people just excellent value for money!

Sunday Roast
In traditional British fashion the Queen Vic serves an awesome Sunday Roast; Both Roast Beef and Chicken, Roast Potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding, fresh seasonal vegetables and gravy, one of our faves.

Afters
All the desserts are home made and there really is something for everyone but do try the Apple Pie, Cheese Cake, Tiramisu, Panna Cotta but their Waffles and Crepes are just to die for and I love the way the Lava Cake explodes with hot chocolate, Mmm!

Behind the Bar
Naturally you’re guaranteed to find your fav tipple, from an extensive list of wines beers and spirits to suit everyone’s taste, oh, and the brilliant Beer Towers, it’s 3 Litres, chilled and on tap and served to your table … and to compliment your drink why not share their delicious hubba bubba flavours, topped with your favourite shot and chilled to your liking … my favs the Double Apple or the Lemon & Mint!

Cocktails
The gorgeous bar staff will mix you a perfect cocktail or two or three 😉 … Try one from the classic menu or better still their signature cocktails … I can never resist one of their Mojitos, the classic is smooth but the Strawberry a little different and my fav the Passion Fruit Mojito, just so Moorish, omg!

Sports
There’s a separate Pool Room if you wanna crack a frame or two and a huge projector screen and 6 Big Screen TV’s everywhere so you’ll be able to catch more than one match, from the English Premiere league and they’ll have the big Greek matches too … in fact all the live sports … and if your clubs colours aren’t on the walls or ceilings make sure you give Costa one and ask him to put it up for you.

Entertainment
With regular live music from 9 pm, sing along to all those classic tunes whilst enjoying your meal or drink, followed by Karaoke and Tribute Acts to keep you amused ’til late ! Here’s a few videos of nights out at the Queen Vic over the years; Michael Jackson Tribute … Sister Sledge Tribute … The Drag Queens ... And if you miss the Elvis Tribute  don’t Freak Out😉
