Bars & Pubs

Kalograia Taverna, Dherynia

"it's a traditional Cypriot Meze House with an International twist" ... "It's not just lot's of meat, it's seasonal, the BBQ Souvlaki and selected meats come with grilled vegetables, black eye beans and salads and just seems to keep coming, usually about 23 dishes" he laughed, "we normally get asked to stop serving" oh btw just wait 'til you taste their specialty house bread, home made with herb infused olive oil then grilled over real charcoal and served to compliment tantalizing starter salads and dips.

Misohoro Taverna, Dherynia

They called it 'MisoHoro', as it in the centre of the village, I always thought it meant Half a Dance ? ... ha! when you leave here you'll only just about be able to walk 😉

Elements Bar & Lounge, Ayia Napa

They recently refurbished, gave the place a new name, moving into a new era ... Elements; Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water ... Panicos says "it was time to change", I agreed, he continued "but its going to be the home of the fifth element, 'Spirit' ... Always a warm and welcoming spirit, two bars to the right now, so plenty of room to get into the party spirit and boogie in the middle ... That's the spirit !

Cape Bar, Cape Greco

Cape Bar is a family bar with a friendly family atmosphere ...it's situated near Cyclops Caves, on the edge of the National Park at Konnos Bay, Cape Greco.  It's one of my favourite areas in Cyprus, this is a great place to watch the beautiful sunset.

Traveller’s Baronesa Dance Bar, Ayia Napa

There's regular theme nights including Belly Dance Nights, and Fancy Dress Nights, so you'll find them looking like police officers and even witches ... Naturally, the girls will dance for you at your table, maybe a little striptease and if you'd like something a little more private all you have to do is ask, who knows it might be your lucky night?

Ayia Napa Parties, Ayia Napa

Not just Parties ... This little gem at the busy end of Nissi Avenue is everything you'll need to enjoy your holiday. It's a family business with a personal service, they'll help you choose the best things to do, when to do them, the best places to see and how to get there, and the best parties to be seen at, and you know, they wanna be on those boat trips and excursions with you and might just be dancing next to you at the parties!

Jungle Bar, Ayia Napa

I watched Lucas and Stavros build the bar, converting it into an open fronted beach hut on the shores of a Jungle, it's basic, wooden, natural, no frills and spills, I love the rope swings for seats, brilliant!, and more than a hint of their obvious love of animals.  But it's not just a bar, it's a meeting place, somewhere to chat about whats on in Napa, somewhere to pick up tickets to the biggest clubs, events and pool parties and boat trips, some free and with their compliments oh, and of course enjoy a drink or two while you're there ...

Karas Fish Taverna, Kapparis

The name Karas is synonymous with quality fresh fish, and it's regarded as one of the best fish restaurants in Cyprus, so its naturally a Cypriots favourite, and purely by reputation, they come from all over Cyprus to eat here !

Bedrock Cafe, Ayia Napa

It looks stunning from outside, recreated to look like the inside of a cave, with huge Dinosaur bones, arches and skeleton relics everywhere and I just love the Lizard stools ... all the crew are dressed up in character and of course Fred parked the Flintstones car outside, so don't forget to get a selfie or two ! Oh, there's big screens for all the live sports and a pool table and a cool beer garden with cool kid's play area out back.

Maccadam All Day, Bar, Paralimni

Over a delicious cappuccino, my old friend 'Tommy' explained: "We wanted to set the ambiance something like you're sitting in a vintage style cafe, on the Kolonaki in Greece, the music relaxed, Mykonos style, with a little live sax now and then and the menus half Greek, half Cypriot, inspired by the irreplaceable chemistry of two top chefs ...
