Beach Cult Live Music Festival is the only Beach Party on the sand in Ayia Napa this year ... It's 10 Events, one each Saturday through the summer season and this week its US Rapper 'Ace Hood' all the way from Florida to Ayia Napa ... and we're gonna be boogying with our toes in the sand, at the only beach festival in Napa this year BCL ... and I can't wait, it's gonna be sick!

To Steki tou Boss, in the heart of Paralimni is an authentic Cypriot Taverna, offering that 'Home from Home' feeling! Inside the décor, in one part designer influenced bespoke wooden tables and chairs made really comfy, patchwork high stools up at the bar, blended with cafe-style seating, lots of wood, village artefacts everywhere, plants and really cool lighting. The menu is a tick list of what's in the kitchen so you create your own meze, 3 of those, 2 of these, none of them etc ... just brilliant .... Highly recommended ... For the third year running it was the opening party of The Cyprus Rocks Festival at Aeyialos Beach Bar and Restaurant, in Protaras, just after the Thomas Cook collapse yet there were hundreds of traveling classic rock fans, joined by almost as many locals, enjoying the start of what was gonna be the best festival ever

What makes Begafigo so special is its ideal location.  Ayia Triada, aka Trinity Beach, offers fine golden white sand, clear shallow waters, often as calm as a millpond, next to a scenic fishing harbour and the iconic, tiny, blue‑and‑white church, and as luck would have it, the launch of Tulum Beach Bar right next door was a blessing in disguise!

... and over a few drinks.  Meadow was covering the Jackson 5's 'Blame it on the Boogie' .... no lip sync here guys, this artist sings it live and mooves just like MJ ...

one of the most popular customs and arguably the most fun is a joyful procession to the sea, where people sprinkle and often throw water over each other, symbolising the purification of the body as well as the soul ... Hmm, I’m taking a bucket with me this year!

Their speciality is Simon’s Pies, and as a Master Baker for over 40 years they are 'just to die for’ … with too many to choose from, Steak ’n Kidney, Steak ’n Ale, Steak ’n Halloumi or my fav the Tandoori Chicken and for the vegetarian’s choice, Three Cheeses, or you must try one of Simon's Indian Dishes, OMG! ... and its all available for Take Away

My initial interest was to find out about their gins, Aris explained, "it's what originally brought us back to Cyprus, 'to create a quality craft gin'.  Our initial inspiration was the aroma of The Troodos Mountains after a long dry summer when it first rains and we wanted to capture exactly that and put it in a bottle and we called it Aoratas Dry Gin which in fact last year won a gold medal. 

This band are awesome !!! Their rendition of Whole Lot of Love brought back some fond memories for me and all the rockers on Trinity Beach, Protaras during Cyprus Rocks 2107

I just love the facade and the interior decor is sort of warehouse-like, classy with industrial tones and extra trimmings, pallets hanging from the ceiling, newspaper collages on the pillars, cool lighting and an awesome looking bar with more bottles than you can count ... 11 years later, the massive repeat custom says it all ... and I can't recommend The Malthouse highly enough!
